It will go to Westbrook. No KD to steal his shots, still has a decent team and coach...he'll average near a triple-double.
He finished 2nd this season and I have a feeling that the media will be reluctant to give it to anyone on GS in KDs first year like LBJ in 2011. What do you think his chances are of winning the MVP in 2017?

I doubt they will be a winning team and the media will not give it to a player on a sub 50 win team imo. not sure Westbrook is going to average 10 asts either with ibaka and Durant gone.
LeBron is the other possibility but he seems content to coast thru the RS now and turn it up in the postseason
gotta go with westbrook as well.
Yup. Unless KL shines on both ends of the court for the full 82 games.
It won't be Westbrookyour team has to finish 1st or 2nd

He doesn't have the stamina like he did. He could win in a down year, maybe.
You guys are nuts if you think WB is going to win because he's not going to touch a top 6 record in the West imo. They wouldn't give it to Kobe after his best season in 06 because he team was crap, I doubt they will give it to russ to spite KD
"Thanks KD, you're the real system player now"
If he gives that speech![]()
It's a wrap. thanks KD.![]()
if the spurs salary dumped parker then kawhi could get it.
Only player fans give a . Would be nice if he led the team in scoring for once past the second round
Gotta have something to celebrate tbh

Dude can't even impose his will over a 7 game series. Durant was right, he's a system player. A nice system player, but MVPs take over playoff series. Kawhi can't take over .
System player.
For real... what's the point of having him anymore?
Lebron should be favourite but Kawhi is now second. I had him third but Durant left okc.
If he actually plays like an MVP, rather than a guy just gathering votes for MVP, the Spurs will be really really good. Not sure how much more the man can improve, but he's surprised me his entire career.
I think after this year's performance in the finals, a lot of voters are realizing they took LeBron for granted... I could see some of them trying to remedy that next year... In the end it really doesn't matter to me-- it's just a popularity contest.
