Getting better and better.....Stacked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looking forward to watching him play with he current team. Hopefully he can impress Pop to some extent.

Now don't get me wrong, Wade, Bron and Melo at a later date or 2006-07 versions of them even take the Gold. I agree they were way too raw at that time.
Looks dramatically better than DG on the highlight vids posted.
Interesting...could turn out very well...exciting.
Did he just block Draymond Green twice in this play?

I'm a fan!
very intriguing, what is his wingspan?
not great, but acceptable
30" no step vertical... acceptable.
note: leonard 25.5", green 29"
how did this kid do with the magic summer league?
That's not hard, tbh
Pop doesn't usually care about how many points you score if you turn the ball over and can't hit open three pointers. So by Pop's standard, Simmons was terrible in summer league. You're right that he has some trade value, because there are other teams that look at the box score and go, "Wow, 29 points!" while ignoring the nine turnovers. I'm not sure that there's a gap the Spurs are going to fill with a trade at this point, but we're back where there's only one roster spot available, and Simmons' departure would make room if there is a second player the Spurs want to have here in his place.
I could have sworn that right before I saw this thread I'd seen a news article that today was the deadline, not last month. Thank you for catching this.
Agreed.
Looking at some of those vids... is Campazzo worth a look? Seems like he has excellent vision and has good-decision making... even if not the most athletic guy in the gym...
The big question mark with him is his size. He's definitely talented.
Does he have a respectable outside shot?
He can get hot. But his niche really is energy guy... somebody compared to an slightly undersized JJ Barea, and that's really more or less a fair comparison, IMO

No, Garino blocked green once, Acuña blocked the second one.
Barea was lightning fast tho... or maybe just cause he had to take more steps to run along his taller peers...![]()
That would make him an undersized Arcidiacono. Pass.
He's nothing like Arci (and I like Arci in general). He's literally very, very energetic, not afraid of the moment and talented. It's just that at the NBA level, you would have to hide him on D, not because he's a bad defender, but because there's no way 80% of players couldn't easily shoot over him.
If his upside could be like Delfino, I'm good for it. He's 23 right? Saw some video him posted here. Seems serviceable. He also has experience playing in FIBA and now would be Olympics.
Forbes is intriguing as well but Garino seems a better option. Could help also in today's NBA style of game. Also, Manu would be happy about it too.
The video I have seen (which is obviously very limited) he reminds me of Nocioni. He sort of has that athletic but doesn't look athletic body/movement.
