that's the best you can do to find comparable bench-clearing brawls? How about sports writers celebrating those "fights"? The rest of your post isn't relevant to sport-sanctioned in-game brawls.
Who cares about bench clearing brawls?

Name all the players who've gotten seriously injured in a bench clearing brawl or find an instance of a player hitting a referee?

And who is "sanctioning this?" Players are suspended for throwing punches.

    Meanwhile in your "peaceful game":

The sheer amount of estrogen that emanates from s' posts makes Lifetime movies look like Chuck Norris flicks.
A consequence of watching soccer, unfortunately.

The highest regular season rated college football ever on Fox drew 7.5 million viewers. SEC games average about a 3.4 rating on CBS (5.5 million viewers).

Highest rated World Series Game of the past few years was the Game 7 Giants/Royals at 24 million, which is only 6 million below this year's NBA Finals Game 7 featuring Lebron, Curry, a 3-1 comeback vs. a 73 win team, and the curse story line.

The NBA needs a perfect storm to really draw, which is why the powers-that-be love nothing more when the Spurs are kept out of the Finals, and they love when Lebron is in the Finals. The Giants vs. Royals is pretty much the equivalent of Spurs vs. the Pacers. Spurs vs. the Pacers would be lucky to average more than 7 million.

I'm not ting on the NBA, but it just shows how the typical US sports fan doesn't care about sports unless there's something "flashy" (a star, storyline) involved.
The Giants are one of the most historic franchises in a large and influential market. Giants-Royals is more like Rockets-Cavs, perhaps minus the star power. Maybe it's Sixers-Jazz/Blazers/Thunder/Spurs/Kings as an alternative.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: today's NFL is to sports what Nickelback is to music, what Call of Duty is to video games, what Game of Thrones is to TV shows, and what Marvel is to movies. It's a generic watered-down product marketed as a Big Event towards the lowest common denominator. It's basically a giant advertisement.

Case in point: defense isn't allowed anymore because it doesn't jive with all the fantasy football leagues being shoved down our throats. Furthermore, the sheer amount of calls and no-calls that teams like the Patriots, Steelers and Broncos have received for decades would make David Stern blush at how obvious the rigging is.

I still watch the out of habit at this point, but nobody can tell me with a straight face that college football isn't the superior product. It's not even close, actually. Thanks to Goodell and Media, football is now the only sport where watching amateurs play is better than watching the pros.

Indeed they are, but they don't draw well. Never really have.

The Bay Area will be split in fandom between the A's and the Giants, and Southern Californian baseball fans would rather have a root canal than watch the hated Giants in the post-season.

San Francisco, the city, is passionate about the Giants, but beyond that, they're just not a draw.

Royals=Cavs in terms of market size, but the Royals don't have a Lebron. He's bigger than markets.

The Modern NFL is , though.

You wouldn't understand because you didn't grow up with it when it was actually good. Due to your age, you've only know Goodellball since day 1.

I'm not talking to you, just illustrating that to fans who watched the NFL prior to 2000ish, it's a very different game and presentation now, and boring and frustrating as as watch.

Do we really need to get into baseball's problems? That's a long list too my friend.

Bring in a pitcher to face a right handed batter
    Commercial break
Bring in a pitcher to face the next left handed batter
    Commercial break
Pitcher throws the ball to 1st base to check the runner
Pitcher doesn't like the catcher's pitch selection
Catcher goes out to the mound to talk about it
Pitcher throws the ball back to 1st base
Pitcher throws the ball back to 1st base again
Manager comes out to the mound
    Commercial break
Pitcher throws the ball back to 1st base again

15 minutes and absolutely nothing happened.

Nothing really, it's just the first example that came to mind as a generic Big Cultural Event on TV besides sports.

I'm not one of those nostalgic types who think everything was better in the old days. That should be obvious if you've ever seen the truthbombs I've posted about how ty the NBA was in the '90s. It's just a fact that the NFL's product has declined in quality since Goodell took over. If that makes me a crochety old man, so be it.

Clipper Nation you aren't a crochety old man because you think the NFL has gone down. Your a crochety old man because you're ing miserable regarding virtually any topicYou are in a perpetual state of whining and you make sure you stay that way by clinging to impossible "solutions"...

For instance you always whine about "your clippers." When they lose, you whine about how "you knew this was coming." When they win, you whine about it being foolsgold. And you invent the solution of "trading cp3" being the ONLY way, knowing damn well it won't happen. And since you know that "solution" will never happen, you'll be able to keep complaining indefinitely.

And same with the chargers except your solution there is the owner leaving, knowing it's not happening. Congrats, you can continue to whine about them after every win and after every loss. Politically, you do the same by claiming to be in a 3rd party knowing damn well it's not happening. So you can , whine, and moan no matter what happens.

Tbh I used to think ur bitter, whining persona is a shtick but I know it's your true nature. I don't have a reddit account, but I browse occasionally during the NFL season to see highlight gifs, and I stumbled upon your account making a typical whining comment. And of course, when I looked at your user history for a couple of minutes it was incessant whining again. About politics. Sports. And even video games and how modern games have alienated you

    You need help.

Yeah ur right. Watching constant backfield passes is way more fun. In fact, NBA needs to start allowing that as well. Let's also get rid of the shot clock while we are at it.

Of course, none of the video can be embedded because the MLB Nazi's don't allow anything youtube

eating fried chicken during a game
    drinking during a game
bunch of drunks fighting during games
    50 player brawls
"the hope diamond of baseball brawls"
    fake tough guys
only "entertaining" part of the sport are fat white guys fighting
sports writers ranking the 1/2 season of brawls with grades
imagine if the sport was dominated by blacks

Adam Jones: no anthem protests in MLB because baseball is 'a white man’s sport'

Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones says baseball players haven’t joined 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick in his national anthem protest because they are concerned about losing their jobs.

In an interview with USA Today
, Jones said: “Baseball is a white man’s sport.”

“We already have two strikes against us,” Jones told the newspaper, which noted that black players made up just 8% of major league rosters compared to 68% in the NFL. “So you might as well not kick yourself out of the game. In football, you can’t kick them out. You need those players. In baseball, they don’t need us.”
