A consequence of watching soccer, unfortunately.
Who cares about bench clearing brawls?
Name all the players who've gotten seriously injured in a bench clearing brawl or find an instance of a player hitting a referee?
And who is "sanctioning this?" Players are suspended for throwing punches.

The Giants are one of the most historic franchises in a large and influential market. Giants-Royals is more like Rockets-Cavs, perhaps minus the star power. Maybe it's Sixers-Jazz/Blazers/Thunder/Spurs/Kings as an alternative.

b) whats wrong with GoT?
Indeed they are, but they don't draw well. Never really have.

The Bay Area will be split in fandom between the A's and the Giants, and Southern Californian baseball fans would rather have a root canal than watch the hated Giants in the post-season.
San Francisco, the city, is passionate about the Giants, but beyond that, they're just not a draw.
Royals=Cavs in terms of market size, but the Royals don't have a Lebron. He's bigger than markets.
The Modern NFL is , though.
You wouldn't understand because you didn't grow up with it when it was actually good. Due to your age, you've only know Goodellball since day 1.
I'm not talking to you, just illustrating that to fans who watched the NFL prior to 2000ish, it's a very different game and presentation now, and boring and frustrating as as watch.

Nothing really, it's just the first example that came to mind as a generic Big Cultural Event on TV besides sports.
I'm not one of those nostalgic types who think everything was better in the old days. That should be obvious if you've ever seen the truthbombs I've posted about how ty the NBA was in the '90s. It's just a fact that the NFL's product has declined in quality since Goodell took over. If that makes me a crochety old man, so be it.
arite. because the production quality of that show is more or less unprecedented. its like watching a movie every week
and yet its still superior to the product of any other sportI'm not one of those nostalgic types who think everything was better in the old days. Clipper Nation you aren't a crochety old man because you think the NFL has gone down. Your a crochety old man because you're ing miserable regarding virtually any topicYou are in a perpetual state of whining and you make sure you stay that way by clinging to impossible "solutions"...
For instance you always whine about "your clippers." When they lose, you whine about how "you knew this was coming." When they win, you whine about it being foolsgold. And you invent the solution of "trading cp3" being the ONLY way, knowing damn well it won't happen. And since you know that "solution" will never happen, you'll be able to keep complaining indefinitely.
And same with the chargers except your solution there is the owner leaving, knowing it's not happening. Congrats, you can continue to whine about them after every win and after every loss. Politically, you do the same by claiming to be in a 3rd party knowing damn well it's not happening. So you can , whine, and moan no matter what happens.
Tbh I used to think ur bitter, whining persona is a shtick but I know it's your true nature. I don't have a reddit account, but I browse occasionally during the NFL season to see highlight gifs, and I stumbled upon your account making a typical whining comment. And of course, when I looked at your user history for a couple of minutes it was incessant whining again. About politics. Sports. And evenvideo games and how modern games have
alienated you
You need help.
CN should hire SR to pen his next book "My Rife" tbh
today's clipper fans
Yeah ur right. Watching constant backfield passes is way more fun. In fact, NBA needs to start allowing that as well. Let's also get rid of the shot clock while we are at it.
When does the fatbol tourney start in Rio?
Of course, none of the video can be embedded because the MLB Nazi's don't allow anything youtube
eating fried chicken during a game
drinking during a game
bunch of drunks fighting during games
50 player brawls
"the hope diamond of baseball brawls"
fake tough guys
only "entertaining" part of the sport are fat white guys fighting
sports writers ranking the 1/2 season of brawls with grades

B-b-but beisbol is not a racist sport guys!!!Adam Jones: no anthem protests in MLB because baseball is 'a white man’s sport'
Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones says baseball players haven’t joined 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick in his national anthem protest because they are concerned about losing their jobs.
In an interview with USA Today, Jones said: “Baseball is a white man’s sport.”
“We already have two strikes against us,” Jones told the newspaper, which noted that black players made up just 8% of major league rosters compared to 68% in the NFL. “So you might as well not kick yourself out of the game. In football, you can’t kick them out. You need those players. In baseball, they don’t need us.”
