today's DC movies
Djohn. Nice sig.
I'm ready for this movie and a ty Harley. Bring this on. I also expect a good showing by mr. Smith.
1st reviews are in and it's not looking good
I'm still gonna go see it but I have the feeling Assault on Arkham is gonna on SS![]()
Was just about to bump this. Should've been R rated. You just can't take a concept this dark and make it work in a PG-13 box.
I saw the trailer for this when I went to seeBourne
and it looked like tbh
how was bourne? thinking about catching it today
If you are a fan of the series like I am I can't see how you won't be disappointed, very weak plot, uninteresting new characters, bad dialogue (cringeworthy sometimes)... but if you only want to watch an action flick it will do the job just fine, tbh, because the action scenes are still good
that sucks to hear. I may still go because i've been planning it for a few days now but not as excited anymore.
Hey man, who watches a Bourne movie for dialogue? It's like watching porn to see foreplays. Am I right?
Not really, but to each their own I guess...imo the original trilogy had some pretty good dialogue scenes which along with the plot made the movies stand out from your generic action/spy movie. The professor death scene in Iden y comes to mind...Bourne talking to the neski girl at the end of Supremacy too. And even when they weren't anything out of the ordinary at least they didn't detract from the movie, unlike in this new one, tbh.
I hated Bourne unfortunately. But damn these reviews - I am still really excited for it. From what I am reading, people seem to be upset that women get punched in the movie.
They obviously don't know that A) Joker & Harley have a terrible relationship B) They are bad guys and in the world of mafia/villains, they don't really adhere to women's rights & C) As tough as it can be to watch, in the real world, there are women who get abused. I get just having unnecessary violence for no reason against women is wrong, but this is supposed to be a very bad guy and couple in a very abusive relationship.
BvS got awful reviews and I still really liked it so I'm not too discouraged but was really hoping to have this get glowing reviews. What sucks is no one is really talking about the performances either. If the reviews were bad I was at least hoping to hear "Margot did a great job, but the script sucked" or "Leto was incredible as the Joker but the movie was too uneven to highlight him really" etc..
BVS was utter
Except for Batfleck
I enjoyed the good moments enough (WW, Batman, the score for each character, cinematic shots, etc..) that it was overall enjoyable to me.
Ok, I understand now. *thumbs up*
Of course you are wrong, Sir chubby.
Margot Robbie stole the show, Leto is a lame duck.

After seeing all the Iron Man, Avengers, Lord of the Rings, The Hulk, Fantastic Four, movies. I;m a little burnt out on cartoon violence. The Dead Pool was the last straw.
You should watch Spider-Man homecoming...
You sure are brave online. Get you f2f and suddenly you run like a got.
Now why would you say that? That's just mean, sir.
Excellent read on the production of the movie and the pressure Ayer faced :
