Delfino could do much more things on the offensive end of the floor. He could go one on one when needed, shoot off the drible, he was pretty good as the ball handler on the pick and roll too. Not saying Garino isn't capable of doing all those things, but he certainly isn't on the same level as Delfino in those aspects of the game.Delfino as a rotation player in the NBA has attempted MORE than 50% of his shots from 3 & driven when he got run off the line. He has basically been Ariza in a Rockets uniform status with a LOWER FT rate which is far from being regarded as a scorer.
Garino is basically going to be asked to do the same as Delfino in the NBA as a 3 & D guy who can actually dribble-drive unlike Danny.
I guess you could say he would be the 2-guard version of Nocioni otherwise dude weighs 203 (lighter than 21 yr old Klay) so he can't play the same role as a hybrid forward.
Garino is more of a blue-collar guy, that plays tough, goes for rebounds, goes for blocks and plays bigger than he is. Also, I know he's listed at 6'6'', but imho he's 6'7''. At least, to me, he appears to be significantly bigger than Manu.
