The article also positions a Gay trade as helping "Kawhi, Aldridge, and Green" to beat Golden State.
Um...do they really think Sacramento is going to trade Gay for Mills and picks?
And it's a ridiculous article/site. Just look at this selection: http://www.gospelherald.com/search/g...=UTF-8&q=spurs

Reminds me of that Lillard article -- which was from the same site, btb.

Tweet is in reference to where Thomas Robinson would likely land:

Not that I have heard... heard Spurs more likely at this point, but that can always change with a phone call. https://t.co/VSeSYPTczh

Meh. Would be nice but honestly doesnt matter too much now.
still want robinson. better than bonner, young, athletic, dude will be driven and compete. spurs environment would be good for him.
Says very little about Robinson, tbh.
not expecting the world from robinson. he'd be solid off the bench. and good insurance even if there wasn't playing time for him.
And probably too late. Looks like he's now lowering his expectations but still has some illusions of grandeur.
The only Rudy Gay trade rumor that ever made sense to me was the one for Tyreke Evans, the Kings need a ball handler & the Pelicans can use a Ryan Anderson replacement.
i never lowered my expectations. i think he can contribute.
and this isn't having illusions of grandeur:
what else is there for you to misinterpret?
Its somewhere in the thread. Dude expected 20+ minutes and a role from his next team. Coming into the league he himself said he wanted to a Kobe level star. He's now saying he accepts he's more like a role player and is willing to play a role. He admitted himself he had a big head coming into the league bad had to be humbled.
She's talking about Robinson?
my bad, i thought you were talking about me![]()
i thought chinook was replying to me and with sagirl quoting him, i thought she meant me.
fair enough, lol not everything is about you you know? I hope you don't take that in a bad way.
I was indeed talking about Robinson. It seems like he did come into the league with too big a head by his own admissions and had trouble accepting a limited role early on in his career. He's now seen how guys like Biyombo and Tristan were very successful as roleplayers in good teams and earned themselves huge contracts. That's probably the only thing that has made him accept a limited role. He still expects the minutes to be handed to him without him earning those and has probably passed on few opportunities with teams by now because he probably didn't want to compete with other guys or he didn't get the assurance from the FO that he would be in the rotation. He still think he's made it in the league. It's possible Brooklyn Nets didn't want him back precisely because of his own unrealistic expectations of 20+ minutes and him being so public about that. It was going to be a disaster with a new coach to deal with an ego like that.
Seems like a PF SJAX like someone said a few posts ago.
Dan Woike Verified account @DanWoikeSports Sources - Clippers have agreed to a deal with G/F Alan Anderson
Strange fit. He's a volume scorer like Crawford, hard to build a bench around two of those.
Doc signed Josh Smith & traded for Lance last season:
Speight/Rivers/Crawford/Anderson/Bass:(Shoot-on-sight)
The dream is over...Jimmer to China.
Yea....Would be sweet if the Spurs can get him....

To get the done, spurs will need to trade either one of Green or Parker. Although Gay is a better player than Green, he is not a better fit, considering he plays the same position as our best player. And there has been no news to shop Parker. The spurs however could trade just over 8 mil of contracts to the Kings to get a deal done. For that to happen Spurs would need to trade Mills, Anderson, Murray, Simmons, rights to Arc, Garino, Frobes, maybe even rights to Bonner. But I am unsure exactly of these rules and how they work.
The point is, it sounds way to hard to make it possible.
