    He was fat and slow. Pistons were letting him get numbers while they kept all the perimeter betas in check. I remember him getting some easy put backs and non-double team baskets here and there while the Pistons clinically carved up the Lakers at the other end.

    Magic was more like a side side-kick. Worthy was Kareem's sidekick.

    Kobe has always been a role player at best on any playoff team. 1B is giving him way too much credit. Every time he tried to live above his means and be the first option, it absolutely destroyed the Lakers. Case in point: 2004 Finals, 2005-2008, 2012-2016.
