not a view but healthy perspective:

    Don't make up arguments

Here are six quick-hitter arguments to stay away from:

“Jordan’s teams were loaded.” Maybe the second three-peat squad, but not the first three-peat squad. Here’s a reminder of what that first championship roster looked like, a year in which Scottie Pippen didn’t make the All-Star team.

“LeBron doesn’t have any help.” He had plenty of help in Miami with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. He’ll have help in Cleveland next season, too.

“Jordan couldn’t carry a team by himself.” Go watch the “Flu Game” against the Jazz in the 1997 NBA Finals again.

“LeBron doesn’t have the killer instinct.” Go watch Game 7 of the 2013 NBA Finals against San Antonio again.

“MJ lovers are validating their childhood.” Maybe a little.

“LeBron lovers are stuck in the now. It's a Millennial thing.” Maybe a little more.

I feel this is a generational battle but MJ is still the GOAT. These younger kids are upset that they didn't get to watch the GOAT so they are trying to make Lebron the GOAT since they were able to watch him. This is like me saying Mike Tyson is the GOAT of boxing because I got to watch him as a kid and he's better than ALI since I didn't get to watch ALI. I will say this I do believe in the next 30-40 years there will be a player who comes along that surpasses MJ but Lebron is not that guy.
