    8th is pushing it.

    1. GSW
    2. Spurs
    3. Clips
    4. Memphis
    5. Jazz
    6. Portland
    7. Dallas
    8. Houston/OKC

Heavy minutes for Westbrook and an even heavier workload with out much offensive talent around him isn't a recipe for success. Teams are going to ignore every one else on the floor and hone in on WB as he tries to carry the load
Naw, the Thunde are good, even w/out Durant. Durant just made them le contenders. Only 3 teams in the west are le contenders.

Yep. And most teams will force him to beat them from the outside. He'll have a good night every so often but the law of averages will keep him shooting sub 40% from deep.

Furthermore, having everyone crowd the lane will hurt Kanter and Sabonis is too. I agree, 8th seed maybe, 7th seed at best.

I can't see the Thunder fighting for the 8th seed. I see them squarely in that 4-6 range with Utah, Portland, and Memphis. If they lose Russ for a significant amount of time, then yes they drop out.

Respect to him for staying. He ever wins a chip there and KD looks like an even bigger coward.

Okc will be lucky to make the playoffs. No Durant, no Ibaka and no bench scoring from Waiters (If that's what his role was). It will be the Westbrook show with a few shot attempts from Oladipu and a few hustle plays from Adams. They need more help.

They will be in the 4-6 range if they stay healthy.

That's been settled. He is a coward. Choked against GS and ran to join them. I wish nothing but shade on that already disgusting team. That whole team sucks from ownership & the coach on down. I hope they are greeted with boos in every arena in the NBA. Green is a dip , Curry is a twink, Kerr is an arrogant prick and Durant is a coward. It took that collection of gots to make me want to see Cleveland win. -- I am no Lebron fan either.

Depends on Westbrook's health. But as of right now, a lineup of Russ, Oladipo, Roberson, Ilyasova, Adams isn't exactly a juggernaut.
    ...Sabonis, Kanter, Payne

That's my thing, they really don't have much talent around him and not really much shooting either. I think they max out as an 8th seed.

i don't see okc getting a worse seed than utah, dallas, houston.
Utah is significantly better imo and its not close. I expect Dallas to be respectable, and baring a disappointing season they should be a 7th seed. I trust Houston more than OKC,even with a new coach and Dwight gone.

OKC struggled last time they didn't have Durant with shooting and I expect it to be the same story. WB, Olidipo, and Roberson aren't a great perimeter shooting core and adding Adams to that lineup doesn't help. They are a bordering on the PS

Not really, not a very good shooting team either and teams can focus in on WB, which will make things much more difficult on him and the team. This roster would have been good with KD and WB (as pretty much any team) but with only star it doesn't work nearly as well. I'd take Utah over them easily, they are clearly bettter, Portland is too and Dallas should be. Houston could be a train wreck or they could be a playoff team.

I agree with your position on Utah being improved to the point to where they likely make the playoffs. I've seen a few people drastically underestimate the acquisitions to their roster. They have a nice mixture of young core players that will improve, and veterans that will contribute to winning now where they are weakest at.

I'm tempted to say they are the 4th best team in the West with Memphis having Gasol coming off a foot injury and Conley coming off a banged up year, Parsons issues with his knees and Tony Allen and Zbo at age 36.

Harward, Favors and Golbert is a very good core and add solid role players like Diaw, Hill, and Joe Johnson should help them. They should be a top 5 defensive team and would have made the PS if it wasn't for a ton of injuries last year

That team could easily disappoint. Paul, Red , Blake and 'Dre is an excellent core but the rest of the team is a mess. Crawford is just awful ,in my opinion, Rivers is meh, Pierce is coming off the worst year of his career, Mbah Moute is an non threat on offense and they traded a 1st rounder for 30 games of Jeff Green only to have him walk.

OKC's defense will take a huge hit replacing Ibaka with Ilyasova. Ilyasova & Kanter are almost unplayable together because of defensive shortcomings. They're also the one of the worst three pt shooting backcourts in the league with Westbrook, Oladipo, & Roberson. I don't see them getting a 4 seed, no way.

6th or 7th seed IMO, 5th at the most.

Cheap copy cats making the naming of a day after a local legend (who happens to actually be Legendary) into something thrown out like party favors.
Watch him bolt in '18. How they going to celebrate RW Day then?

Plus, Exum and Lyles. Definite potential there. But addressing the guard spot veteran wise was huge. Especially with only one real guard to develop.
