I am going to see it tonight in IMAX. If I don't like it there then there is no chance of liking it. Will let you know what I think when I get back

Disagree (some). Ratings can be whack. From what I am hearing it should have had no problem being rated R but they pushed for PG--13 because it would allow for more sales.
Solid movie, i didnt like the joker tho.
Care to elaborate (on the Joker) without spoilers?
He's just not enough in the movie. I also didn't really like his design with all the tats and metal teeth, but i knew about this going into the movie and thought that it wouldn't bother me, but it kinda did. There also is no memorable scene with him in the movie and all i really remembered was his laugh. Acting wasn't the problem but i guess his time in the movie was. At least for me.
I got you - thanks. Many people said that and I read that a lot of his scenes ended up getting cut too. I'm sure he will be in the next Batman with a more prominent role (assuming this doesn't tank financially).
They said he acted well, but it was just too little of him and he should have been explored more.
Lot to digest. Ultimately I liked it and there was a lot more good than bad. It's just that the bad parts were so over the top cheesy and bad that it bugs me.
Still a good movie, but I definitely feel disappointed some because it could have been amazing and instead probably settled for pretty damn good. The good parts were really good and there were more of those than the bad.
I definitely want to see more of the Joker. I think it was good enough to want more but not enough to have a fully developed opinion on him.
Everyone else did pretty good in their roles and the acting was not a problem other than the cheesy parts but that was on the script.
trailers looked ty and now reviews are ty. sadly, still probably gonna go see it![]()
I read that the problem with the Joker scenes is that they are out of place with the story. You could remove them entirely and it would not change the flow of the movie. Did you think that was the case? I will likely see this next week when there are fewer crowds.
Saw it. The movie was just fine. Nothing wrong with it. More entertaining than most of the Marvel movies that have come out in the past 2 to 3 years...especially that turd Civil War everyone loved. Is it perfect? No. But you can nitpick anything. I think the critics are applying an unrealistic standard to it. It's like they want it to be oscar worthy or they can't enjoy it.
No. The joker scenes were actually a nice subplot that made the movie more layered. Made it feel part of a bigger world in an organic way. Didn't feel out of place at all.
damn, spot on
Agree with this. I wanted more Joker but it really just alluded to the fact a lot of this is connected.
According to critics:
Marvel = Hillary
DC = Trump
But in reality Hillary = Trump, just in different ways.
FWIW, Feminazi Ghostbusters got 73% on R
So
WE WILL SEE
Leto did fine, but he just looks so damn stupid. The smile tats are too much imo. The movie was dumb, but entertaining. It's kinda sad that CW Flash looks cooler than movie flash.

WTH?!?!![]()
the blue lightning/sparks look dumb
The cover of Oran "Juice" Jones' Walking In the Rain as Deadshot walked with his daughter in the beginning did make me laugh out loud
Wow its getting obliterated on rotten tomatoes
We landed on the moon!
I enjoyed it overall. The villain could have been better and I agree with the reviews that said it felt like an R rated movie trying to break out of a PG-13 s . There were times at the end with the final sequence the fight was a bit cheesy. I recommend going and seeing it in the theater for sure but I left feeling like the film left something on the table.
Saw it yesterday. Solid.
This is one example were decent sites like RT get it wrong, imo.
Saw it
It's utter![]()
