I want to see the pre-BvS version. I don't understand why they would make a movie about villains lighter in response to a movie about superheroes getting slammed for being dark.

It's a comic book movie but amateur directors on here will dissect it like it was supposed to be a work of art.
I would never go see a movie or not see a movie based on critics reviews. I go into a movie giving it a chance knowing that there will be cheesiness, some bad dialogue, etc. etc.
Movies are for entertainment but I picture people on this site walking in with notebooks and pencils waiting to write down everything they don't like. "Oh OH! There it isth! Deadshostht's bullet ricocheted off of that camera but it would totally have broken it! That's unrealisthtic!"
Who goes into a movie based on supervillains from comic books and says "This better be perfect or I am going straight to ST to let everyone know"?

usually with these comic movies, i'm fine with the script/story being lame but the action making up for it. the action in this movie was awful. the characters were the only strong points... and not even all of them. basically deadshot/harley/el diablo. the rest sucked hard.

I thought the movie was fine, but it desperately needs an uncut version. The villain was . Seriously, did anyone actually think the Earth was as risk of being destroyed? For the most part they got the main characters right and it is a decent starting block. BvS was terrible and should be scrapped.
im not into the whole comic book movie thing. although, i liked deadpool and guardians of the galaxy a lot.
this movie though, sucks from beginning to end. the joker was the best part of it all and he was in it for what, 4 whole minutes?
BvS was 10000000000x the movie SuicideSquad will never live up to and i could not care less about either movie.
In terms of set products and special effects, yeh. But they got all the characters wrong in BvS. All of them. It was a disgrace.

You could see this movie had potential underneath the atrocious editing.
The Joker seemed like he had potential but overall Sucked.
The Japanese chick did nearly nothing and Coulda been scrapped.
Will Smith did the Will Smith y funny line thing at least 3 times and I cringed every time. Good lord he's a joke now.
The villain was lame but that's a problem with all comic movies.
Harley was hot.
I enjoyed it but the set up was way more compelling than the actual mission imo. And it seems like they really only needed Diablo. And maybe Killer Croc. Boomerang was pretty spare.
