Not sure if true or not, but saw on another site that he told Sumlin that he was decommiting due to the Women's clinic fiasco. Maybe it just gave him an out if he really wants Texas.

Brandon has checked with sources on the OU side and is told that the Sooners will no longer pursue Texas OL commit, Xavier Newman. Newman was planning a trip to Oklahoma and the Sooners were posing a real threat. But that is no longer the case.
