Imo, there is no way you can spin what he said into what you're trying to fit his narrative in. First of, the people wouldn't even have to revolt if a US president tries to consolidate power and rule as dictator. That's something the military would squash in two seconds.
You can probably say Trump wasn't serious when he said it but he implied Hillary should perhaps be dealt with by the people by force. And since he used the second ammendment as a reference, what other way of dealing with someone you dont like can we assume he meant?
I truly believe he has tossed in the white towel and its just finding a way to get out of it while at the same time making the excuse that the election was rigged.

I dont usually give two s about rallies and what people attend but the righties make such a big deal with Trump rallies. They always try to make Hillary's rallie seem cheap like its some kind of achievement.

“Because it’s going to tell people more about me with respect to the Second Amendment ... because Hillary Clinton wants to essentially abolish the Second Amendment.”
