It's looking pretty bad for the US in rugby right now. If GB loses to NZ, then it would mean the US would have to beat Fiji just to earn a tie-breaker. Really messed up by letting Argentina drive down the pitch in extra time.

Though Brazil could do the US the favor of kicking the out of Argentina so the Americans can get second place in their bracket. That works too.

Well now GB is kicking the out of NZ, so the US might be able to make it in by just hanging close with Fiji.

It's a mix of things
Luis is a dominant offensive player in FIBA and he's the one taking the most shots, plus he's the Captain and has been there for the NT even when Manu wasn't because of injuries
Also Argentina are kinda stacked on the wings, not so much with bigs, so Luis is gonna be harder to replace
Said that, Manu's leadership on and off the court is uncomparable, and you can see it during timeouts, interviews, during games when he's talking to the younger guys, encouraging and teaching them
And in the 4th, despite taking just 3 shots all game and already having 4 fouls, when nobody could make a basket and Facu was starting to get careless with the ball they went to him, and he delivered

In fewer words you'll have a hard, hard time losing them both

Once again Collet goes with a lineup of all bench guys: Huertel-Diot-Gelabale-Pietrus-Lovergne. Really don't understand why he keeps doing that. There is no chance for France to score with those guys on the floor.

Not sure why TP played less minutes than Heurtel in the first half, also only had one shot attempt.

You have to wonder if either team is tanking to avoid the US side of the bracket.
