Basketball at the 2016 Rio Olympics

Since the first games of the Olympic Qualifying Tournaments will be played today , I thought I should start a thread for the 2016 Olympics.

The men's tournament is scheduled to begin on August 6 and end on August 21. Nine teams have already qualifyied for the Main Tournament: the United States,Venezuela,China and Australia (Group A) as well as Argentina,Spain,Brazil,Lithuania and Nigeria (Group B). The three remaining spots will be filled by the winners of the three Olympic Qualifyiers which are going to take place from July 4-July 10 in Belgrade(Serbia), Manila(Philippines) and Turin(Italy).

Spurs' draft pick nemanja Dangubić will represent Serbia.

Current Spurs Tony Parker and Boris Diaw(as well as former Spur Nando de Colo) will represent France, while former Spur Cory Joseph will captain the Canadian national team.
