TRUMP BLASTS MEDIA FOR REPORTING THINGS HE SAYS

NEW YORK — The Republican nominee Donald Trump tore into the media on Thursday for what he called their “extremely unfair practice” of reporting the things he says.

“I’ll say something at a rally and I look out and see all these TV cameras taking every word down,” Trump told Fox News’ Sean Hannity.

“No one in politics has ever been subjected to this kind of treatment.”

“It’s unbelievable and, frankly, very unethical,” he added.

At a rally in Florida, the candidate lashed out at a TV cameraman whom he caught in the act of recording his words for broadcasting purposes.

“Look at him over there, picking up everything I’m saying, folks,” Trump shouted. “Get him out of here.”

In his interview with Fox, Trump hinted that he might drop out of this fall’s televised Presidential debates if the media continues its practice of reporting the things he says.

“I’ve always said that I would be willing to debate if I’m treated fairly,” Trump told Hannity.

“But if the media keeps recording everything I say, word for word, and then playing it back so that everyone in the country hears exactly what I said, I would consider that very, very unfair.”

Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson picks up eight percent (8%) of the vote, while Green Party nominee Jill Stein trails with two percent (2%). Trump is playing possum, nothing matters until the debates start. He endorsed McCain Rubio and all the rhinos to bring "never trump" back in line. Hillary is in such bad shape that she can't even handle a heckler or climb some steps without secret service assistance. She may literally have a stroke on stage when trump busts out the real dirt on live tv.

ISIS was really started around 2006; Combination of Al-Qaeda in Iraq and Saddam's army generals. In fact, the current "Caliph" Al-Baghdadi was released by the Bush administration. Anything else is BS.
And it didn't become relevant until Obama and Hillary gave them all those guns to overthrow Assad knowing full well what would happen.

As usual, literal liberals are intentionally obtuse.

Trump taint forever toxic: GOPers wouldn’t even interview someone with ‘Trump 2016’ on their résumé

Donald Trump and his toxic presidential campaign is driving away staffers from the Republican National Committee because they rightly fear coming into contact with the stench of a potentially historic loser.“If someone applied for a job and brought in a résumé that had Trump 2016 on it, I wouldn’t give them an interview,” a Republican fundraising consultant told Time.

Behind the scenes, at least 11 RNC staffers have bolted since March, and many of them have cited Trump as the reason, reported Politico.

The website reported that deputy press secretary James Hewitt, spokesman Fred Brown, director of Hispanic media Ruth Guerra, and research analysts Lars Trautman and Colin Spence have all blamed Trump for their decision to leave the RNC, and at least three other staffers have left over Trump’s candidacy.

Polls show Trump has put reliably red states such as Arizona, Georgia and South Carolina into play for Hillary Clinton, who is courting Mormon voters in surprisingly compe ive Utah.

Those signs are pointing to a potentially disastrous election for Republicans, whose down-ballot candidates are also being tied to the boat anchor of Trump’s campaign.

Trump has established few campaign operations in key swing states such as Ohio, where campaign volunteers aren’t even sure whether they have the backing of local Republican Party officials.

Hey moron, its Rasmussen. They've had Trump up for most of the year. 3 points is actually the highest she's ever been on their polling.

Also they dont even do head to head polling anymore because then that 3 point lead she has on the 4 way would be 5 or 6 if they just said Trump v Hillary.

BUSTED: Trump told 30 lies in two days during 2007 deposition about his ‘billionaire’ claims

The Washington Post said on Wednesday
that the lawsuit began when Trump sued author Timothy O’Brien for defamation when O’Brien’s book TrumpNation: The Art of Being The Donald said that realistic estimates of the former reality TV star’s net worth would place him in the category of millionaire, not billionaire as he frequently claims.

Trump lost that lawsuit, but not before O’Brien’s legal team turned the tables on the real estate magnate and summoned him for a lengthy deposition regarding his net worth.

It was in this deposition that Trump made his now-notorious pronouncement that he bases his net worth on his “feelings.”

“Yes, even my own feelings, as to where the world is, where the world is going, and that can change rapidly from day to day. Then you have a September 11th, and you don’t feel so good about yourself and you don’t feel so good about the world and you don’t feel so good about New York City. Then you have a year later, and the city is as hot as a pistol. Even months after that it was a different feeling. So yeah, even my own feelings affect my value to myself.”

According to the Post, Trump stretched the truth to the breaking point in a number of statements.

“Trump had misstated sales at his condo buildings. Inflated the price of membership at one of his golf clubs. Overstated the depth of his past debts and the number of his employees,” wrote David A. Fahrenthold and Robert O’Harrow Jr.

“Trump’s falsehoods were unstrategic — needless, highly specific, easy to disprove. When caught, Trump sometimes blamed others for the error or explained that the untrue thing really was true, in his mind, because he saw the situation more positively than others did,” the Post continued.

O’Brien said after the lawsuit was settled, “A very clear and visible side effect of my lawyers’ questioning of Trump is that he [was revealed as] a routine and habitual fabulist.”

Trump admitted to the Post that the intent of his lawsuit was to punish O’Brien for saying mean things about him.

“I didn’t read [the book], to be honest with you,” he said. “I never read it. I saw some of the things they said. I said: ‘Go sue him. It will cost him a lot of money.’ ”

Trump lied to O’Brien’s attorneys about his percentage of ownership in a Manhattan real estate group saying that he owned a 50 percent stake of the business, when in fact he owned less than 30 percent.

He claimed that he was paid $1 million for a single speech to New York City’s Learning Annex. He actually received $400,000.

The lawyers pointed to an interview with CNN’s Larry King in which Trump claimed to employ “Twenty-two thousand or so” workers.

“Are all those people on your payroll?” attorney Andrew Ceresny asked.

“No, not directly,” Trump admitted. He said that the figure he stated on Larry King Live included employees of other companies that acted as suppliers and subcontractors to Trump businesses.

He lied about the membership fee for one of his golf courses, inflating the figure by $100,000.

He lied about the extent of his debt in the early 90s to make his climb back to solvency look more heroic.

Trump also made a number of unsubstantiated claims in an attempt to slander and discredit O’Brien including a made-up claim that the writer was once arrested for stalking.

“I guess that was probably taken off the Internet,” Trump admitted.

The real estate magnate said that O’Brien has a reputation for threatening his sources, for using public forums to fire arrows at longtime enemies and settle old scores.

“What was the basis for that statement?” Ceresny asked.

“Just my perception of him,” Trump answered. “I don’t know that he indicated anything like that to me, but I think he probably did indirectly.”

At the end of the deposition sessions, Trump’s attorney Mark Ressler ordered that the transcripts be sealed from public scrutiny.

“I want the record to be crystal clear that every single word, every question, every answer, every word, is confidential,” Ressler demanded.

However, after he lost the suit, then appealed and then lost again, the testimony was entered into the public record.

Trump still lies when asked about the outcome of the lawsuit.

“O’Brien knows nothing about me,” Trump said in a statement to the Post this week. “His book was a total failure and ultimately I had great success doing what I wanted to do — costing this third rate reporter a lot of legal fees.”

O’Brien countered that his publisher and their insurers paid to defend TrumpNation in court, “Donald Trump lost his lawsuit and, unlike him, it didn’t cost me a penny to litigate it.”

Even Trump-backing Republicans are bracing for a massive loss — and it’s only August

Normally, you don’t start to see elected officials admitting that their presidential candidate is toast until late September or early October.
This year, it’s happening in August.

    The Hill
    has done some interviews
with several Congressional Republicans who all say that Hillary Clinton is very likely to win the presidential election in November.

“I think it will be Hillary,” admitted one House GOP lawmaker who has endorsed Trump.

“If he continues the next 90 days like the last week, then he will lose big time,” said another Trump-backing GOP lawmaker.

“Another autopsy will occur and the next time I hope lessons will be learned,” Rep. Charlie Dent (R-Pa.) like in 2012?

Staffer: Trump’s screaming NC campaign director pulled gun and threatened to blow off my kneecap

As taffer from Donald Trump’s North Carolina operation is suing the campaign and former state campaign director Earl Phillip, alleging that Phillip threatened him and other staffers with a gun.
According to WBTV in Charlotte, when Vincent Bordini approached higher-ups in the campaign, they did nothing. Another campaign official confided to Bordini that he, too, had been threatened at gunpoint by Phillip.

WBTV’s Nick Ochsner posted the first page of Bordini’s complaint on Twitter. The incident took place in Phillip’s Jeep in February of this year, reportedly, when Phillip “produced a pistol, put his right index finger on the trigger, and drove the barrel into Vincent’s knee cap.”

Bordini went straight to campaign officials, the suit says, speaking first to the Trump campaign’s regional director of western North Carolina.

“The Director told Vincent that he, too, had been brandished upon by Phillip,” the lawsuit says. “He was terrified.”

Phillip’s Facebook timeline is littered with pro-gun memes. “Until I am out of ammo or out of blood, I WILL FIGHT,” says one post.

“Life is about kicking ass,” says one image depicting an Army special forces operative brandishing an assault weapon, “not kissing it.”

WashPo: Sean Hannity’s Yarn About a Heroic Trump Is a Complete Lie

The Fox commentator’s website aired a story in May about how Trumppersonally sent his private plane to go ferry 200 Gulf War Marines home, after they had been left stranded by a logistical error in 1991. The Hannity.com report is based on the second-hand recollections of a corporal and includes a photo of Marines standing in front of a plane labeled “Trump.” And the Trump campaign reportedly confirmed the story,

Unfortunately, the plane featured in the image wasn’t really Trump’s, as the mogul was in such dire financial straits that he sold off the plane for cash to help repay some outstanding loans.

    The Post‘s Glenn Kessler concludes:

Despite the rumors on base, it’s clear that Trump had nothing to do with the dispatch of the jet to the troops stranded at Camp Lejeune.

The aircraft that ferried the troops was part of the Trump Shuttle fleet, at a time when Trump barely had control over the airline and was frantically trying to negotiate deals with bankers to prevent the collapse of his business empire.

Trump Shuttle had a contract with the military, and this flight home was part of that contract. Simple as that.

Sean Hannity needs to prominently correct this article. The Trump campaign, meanwhile, earns Four Pinocchios for confirming a story that is easily debunked.

A correction seems unlikely, as Hannity has repeatedly defended his Trump boosterism by reminding us that he is not a journalist.

From fringe to mainstream: Conspiracies, baseless accusations and lunacy is the new normal for Republicans

The GOP has no firewalls to insulate itself from its crazies and the conspiracies and dark fantasia they spin out

What these stories all have in common is that they are premised on complete and unadulterated bull , the kind of stuff that used to be limited to shortwave radio transmissions beamed out from trailers in the Nevada desert. Now they are the mainstream of the Republican Party.

But this is the problem with the right wing and the Republicans these days. The GOP has no discernment, no firewalls to insulate itself from its crazies and the conspiracies and dark fantasia they spin out. There is no distinction to be made between its presidential candidate, a senator who has been a sleeper darling of the Republican establishment (Bill Kirstol was Cotton’s first mentor when he arrived in Washington), and the lunatics voting for it in this election.

It is hard to see how the GOP splits, forming one right-ish party while the far-right kooks slip further out onto the fringe. The kooks are the party now. Separating them out to become a functional party capable of participating in governance may not be possible.
