    HTTR!

1st team offense and defense looked solid against the Falcons last week. Matt Ryan didn't do anything. I'm excited about this season, if they can stay healthy. They have a tough schedule, but most of their tough games are at home where they played really well last season. They have a great shot of going 5-3 going into their bye week. Let's do this Captain Kirk!

Skins looked solid again with a win against the Jets, even without a couple of their key players missing! Worried a little about Matt Jones with that injury, but he should be fine. Outside of that guys stayed healthy. I guess it's sort of a good thing when our fan base is complaining about us letting go a guy who was horrible in 2014 (RG3), and bad (Morris) in 2015 playing well in the preseason except the players that are on our team. I haven't been optimistic for a while, but we look good!

When I did pick ems I upgraded the Redskins to 10–6.

Still with the excruciating home loss to Clutch Eli and the Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeee- Men at the bitter end of the season, third place in the division, and no January football.

Morris was "bad" because of your stupid new man blocking scheme rendering Morris ineffective and going with other meh running backs who can't do .

You have great receivers, but a lousy running game and okay OL. Your defense is a lot like the Cowboys, they have a couple stars here and there but I don't think it will even be better than the Cowboys' defense when push comes to shove. Norman got his big payday and now he's going to turn into Brandon Carr or find a way to get injured and collect all that guaranteed cash money. Your defense isn't stopping anyone with an above average running game, either, even an iffy one like Green Gay's last playoffs ran all over your soft middle.

To be fair, our OL turned Darren McFail into a quad digit rusher in only 12 starts even when there was no passing game for defenses to respect.

If the Redskins win the division, I think it will be a squeaker at 9-7, or 8-8. Brutal schedule and only year 2 of the rebuild.

Skins get their Center they desperately needed! I couldn't stand Lichtensteiger killing drives already in the preseason with stupid holding calls, and getting bull rushed. Stork was pretty damn good according to Pats fans when he was healthy. He brings some nastiness we need in that young offensive line with a lot of potential to be a top five line at the end of season.

They have ran the ball well the last two games, and for the most part have protected Cousins really well. Hopefully that continues outside of all the stupid penalites.

Given the recent developments in Dallas, you guys have a nice opportunity to grab that division crown. Of course you have to contend with the Giants, but if that's all you have to worry about then call yourselves fortunate. A lot of winnable games in the first eight, back half has several landmines though. I'd say the Giants have a better schedule but you never know. All you have to do is win division games anyways.

Not necessarily true, tbh. iirc the Raiders (with Tom Cable as HC) went 6-0 in the division one year but finished 3rd and missed the playoffs

No guarantee 10 or even 11 games makes the playoffs.

I think Redskins win 10 and barely miss

Three in a row! Defense played their asses off in the wind game! If we beat Philly which we have their number recently that will be huge! HTTR!

Cousins isn't great, but the Giants are in trouble now. Though they have arguably had one of the toughest schedules in the NFC so far.

I see a path to 10-11 wins, with losses to the Cowboys and both Eagles games... if they split with the Eagles it could be a real dogfight... all their hard non-division games are at home (or in London) from here on out.

Redskins I believe have the toughest remaining schedule left so it should be interesting. I think they go into the bye week at 5-3.

Defense looked good today outside of the first drive, and few runs. Offense had chances to blow the game open but they started playing a little too conservative and the wind seemed to be bothering Cousins.

At the same time the Ravens offense is pretty basic, and Trestman is probably the worst OC in the league.

Our pass defense has been getting better, and the Eagles don't have a great running game that worries me is what might give us a chance having Philly's number recently.

Cousins pre determines too many of passes before the play depending on the coverage he believes it will be. He needs to stop doing that at times.

Our asses got saved with that touchback by Mosley on a stupid forced throw. He should've went to the check down.

He needs to move in the pocket also, sometimes he's a freaking statue. Outside of that I really like Cousins though

Skins are a better than solid team and have a cupcake schedule coming up with only real hard games being at home. 8-2 up to the Turkey Day game is a possibility. Of course that's when the Skins streak ends.
