Getting rid of RG3 was a step in the right direction.

backhanded compliment if there ever was one.
Kirk Cousins and the Deadskins.
Cowboys have a shot to win the division, because they have the best offense in the division, but the Redskins have a pretty damn all around good team. It looks like three great drafts in a row for the Skins. Norman played awesome the other day against the Falcons, they didn't let Matt Ryan do anything. That defense can be special.
Damn right.......
The problem is that their quarterback is just mid tier, nothing better, and their running game is atrocious. OL is a bit better than average which helps out Cousins. They have a great receiving corps, 1 great cornerback, LBs and DL are another question mark. Harder schedule this year, have to play all the first place teams. I'll go with 9-7
Can we sign Hardy to a 4 week contract just to take out Manning and Cousins weeks 1 and 2? Then the better overall player but more laid back Dlaw can come in and get his 15 sacks in 12 games and Hardy can take his paycheck and leave.
What the heck happened with RG3 anyway? I knew that he blew out his knee during his rookie season, but he did have a great season from what I remember. Why has he done so poorly since then? Is he not as good as he played back then? Is he lacking the talent? Was he relying solely on athleticism? Does he just not have the skill to be a proper quarterback? I never really watched him play during his rookie season, just saw highlights back then, and from what I remember, he looked electric in those. It seemed like he had a great future.
He ended up in the NFL graveyard known as the Browns.
To bad for him that the Redskins are more like the Knicks, stupid ass franchise.
Too bad they have the NFL version of Jim Buss running the team.
Yeah, blowing their load on Josh Norman is totes what Spurs would do.
Kirk Cousins was one the best quarterbacks in the league down the stretch last seasonI'm about 80% sure he can be a serviceable quarterback that could make one run at some point of his career. I do agree that our running game is terrible. Our running backs not hitting the holes when they were there, and our line not being physical enough didn't help. I really like Matt Jones upside though, now that it seems that his fumbling issues have really improved from what's being said. It's going to help him that he is such a big back though. Bashuad Breeland is a beast on the other side of Norman who was rated as one of the cornerbacks in the league. They're going to give that D-Line some time to get to the cornerback. Hopefully Hall's transition to free safety continues to extend his career, and we got Bruton as our strong safety from Denver who seems pretty solid. Su'a Cravens our second round pick was a beast against Atlanta that first game, everyone is raving about him in DC. There's only four guys I trust on the defensive line, and it's Ryan Kerrigan ( Double digit sacks the last two season), Preston Smith (Eight sacks last year as a rookie), Chris Baker ( Great run stopper), and Will Compton ( Poor man's Sean Lee). Our receving core will be amazing once Doctson gets in the fold also. I do agree they got to get better at those positions hopefully someone emerges, now that we ended up losing Gallette again. Actually your record is better than mine though lol, I think they will go 8-8 and barely miss the playoffs, but they will continue trending into the right direction under their second season under McCloughan.
At his age, Hall may be a bit of a liability at FS, particularly against the faster receivers of the league/division.
Your DL was atrocious at run stopping at times last year, particularly when it counted most against Green Gay and Fat Lacy/Scrawny Starks (not even a good running team).
Combined with that, your run offense is going to lose you guys a good handful of games because the D is going to be on the field a lot. Norman won't have Cam Newton and Jonathan Stewart on the other side anymore to chew up time and keep him fresh. IMO, a quality running game is the single most important thing to have in football and you not having that just wears on everything else, you'll either score quickly or punt quickly and lose TOP big time, field position will be an issue if you get behind in games.

No way your ty cowboys sweep. As always they are a romo injury or someone getting arrested from sucking balls. Even if that dosn't happen they won't be that good.
