These two wise asses had quick/then bare feet, but, each had one cold hand.
Who are they?
After visiting the Olympics in Japan in 1964 this man demanded bombs be dropped on him and was later riddled as a bullet.
Who is he?
These two wise asses had quick/then bare feet, but, each had one cold hand.

Tommie Smith and John Carlos.
Dame Jenner.
You got me there. That's a stumper. Abrahams?
Both Smith and Carlos went to San Jose State. As did a whole slew of other great sprinters. In the late 60's San Jose was known as "Speed City". Now being an expert how about filing in the lanes for that "Speed City" 100m, ok?
Actually it started in the late 50's. We have no less that five WR holders here.

Hey SFS, being the EXPERT that ya are how about filling in the teams for a fantasy 4x1, ok?
The best sprinters each school ever had, to form a 4x1 team.
lane
1.UCLA
2.LSU
3.TCU
4.USC
5.Houston
6.Florida
7.Tennessee
8.San Jose St
Then that 4x4 relay.

4.NCC
5.St Augustine
6.Arkansas
7.Clemson
8.Auburn
I;m going to predict ya don't fill in any of those. Prove me wrong.
No, some fellow named Nurmi. They showed actual footage of him winning that Marathon in the "Marathon Man."
You're correct on the other 3.
Paavo.
Spurs46 messaged me with the answer.
A god, by God.
Dummy, Abrahams was a sprinter, ok?
Now tell me the story of Harold Abrahams and USA high school sprinter Francis Hussey.
Can you?
Imagine a runner who would hold the American record at...
50
100
200
400
800
mile
is that amazing or what?
Notice how SFS can never fill in anything I ask him to?
Sheesh~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
No. No it's not unimaginable, especially back in the days when there was a dearth of participation and specialization. No it's not at all difficult to imagine. It's difficult for you to imagine though. Spurs46 already covered this... Your lack of a deeper understanding of history.
Well tell me stupid, if that were the case then how come nobody else ever came close to doing that?
Only one runner ever accomplished that, why?
Tonight I expect to see ...
Dafne Schippers
Elaine Thompson vs Torrie Bowie for the silver.
..in the womens 200m
Not that anyone of the three can't win it. They will win the medals.
Anyone have a different opinion?
exactly how did you come to that opinion? i'll tell you how....thats right......spursforsix.
spursforsix=risotto
avante=aerosol cheese
Read my post again. Do you understand if not that many people are participating you can have one outstanding athlete. There probably were others that could have done the same, but was any one around to time them or even ask them to try? Do you get the fact that information travels to most of the world today, but not when this record was set? Do you get what role this would play?
Imo, no one in this time day will ever win the sequential step up from 400m and 800m because of huge participation and specialization. Because of the very different body forms this requires, it won't happen. And if it does, you possibly have the most amazing runner of all time. 200m to 400m possible. 100m to 200m easy. 10k to marathon possible. 5k to 10k could happen this year.
So you have never heard of Alberto Juantorena, who won the Oly gold in the 400/800? You do know Tommie Smith, Herb McKenley, Henry Carr were all world ranked in the 100-200-400, right? Ever heard of Arthur Wint?
Dude, it had nothing to do with anything you talked about, yep, you are clusless. So why do you try and talk about stuff you obviously don't know about?
SFS has no clue who those ladies even are.
