Off the top of the dome, no order:

-All the Taken movies..atrocious, yet somehow they have a cult following
    - Scarface..terrible movie that got inflated by rappers, etc
    - The Revenant..very average movie IMO..
    - Virtually all Adam Sandler movies..White people are appalled when you insult Adam Sandler, similar to speaking ill of Larry Bird or Peyton Manning, but he makes some of the tiest movies I've ever seen
    - Straight Outta Compton..so corny..
No surprised your racist ass had to bring race into this. White people think his movies are ty as well, his movies definitely aren't considered universally great among whites you racist piece of

The Slumdog Millionaire- Another boy meets girl piece of trash and the location.....8 Academy Awards? Just ugh!

Back to the Future- I just never understood the need for sequels and prequels. To think this is one of the biggest movies back in the day. Yuck.

Twilight- taking every cliche and wrapping it up into one big stupid vampire-romance movie.

anic- He hustled, she's a gold digging , they met, the boat sank, he died, she died.

Avatar- Paraplegic meets Pocahontas in space..OooooHhhh....Give me a break.

    Space Jam- Cringe worthy.

    +1000000

I mean I get the praise for the special effects and all that but the actual film was so boring. There wasn't a point in the movie in which I felt remotely interested.

Donnie Darko sucks. Adam Sandler's not funny at all. Avatar was terrible, virtually a rip off of Fern Gully, a kids movie.

-Thought the Revenant was great, maybe a bit too long but great.
-Totally agree about Adam Sandler and Kevin James for that matter just trash.
-Straight Out Of Compton started poorly but after Detroit scene the movie got good and the acting improved significantly. Think its a case of low expectations and better than expected movie.

I loved this one too. But I don't think it's on any top lists.

The music in that movie and the situations presented were outstanding. The rather bizarre slapstick was wonderful. That's one I continually go back to for specific scenes. The look of perplexed boredom on Napolean's face was fantastic. The characters were terrific. It's a good flick for those of us who appreciate kids at that age surrounded by boredom. And the interaction with quirky adults was solid humor. The naivety of all associated with the machine Uncle Rico ordered by mail...
Cried laughing when I first saw it with my brother after it came out, actually watched a month a go. Not as funny but still pretty damn hilarious. Uncle Rico, Napoleon, and Kip are all great characters. Everyone went to school with someone weird like that dude.

By wrong I mean it is not the end all & be all that it is proposed as such. Its weak in spots and putters in spots. It looks hurried at times. It's serviceable and new at that moment, but, it's not "genius" Blake.
K, gonna have to disagree on it's genius

Seeing all this congregated into one thread is sobering, by God.

Al Pacino being listed here is a sign of viewer fatigue...he's not the mythical guinea goomba Hollywood makes him out to be, but he's made some damn good films. Sure, most (if not all) of his characters involve him going bat crazy at one point or another with his eyes popping out of his head, but it's altogether entertaining. Everybody's in love with Godfather II (especially De Niro's part), but after re-watching TG1&2 last month I've come to appreciate Michael Corleone's character more and more. It's one of the few roles where he is emotionless, but it's just that quality that creates one of the most ruthless and frightening characters ever portrayed on film. To me, it's still why The Godfather is the best of the trilogy--for Michael's 3+ hour metamorphosis from Walter White into Heisenberg. I implore people to review those two films. The second one--also obviously brilliant--just drives home the subtlety of his viciousness. People rave about the Cuban revolution scene where AP says "I know it was you Fredo, you broke my heart"...but no scene is more heartbreaking or diabolical than when he hugs his brother at their mom's funeral, then looks Al Neri in the eye. That still gives me the feels tbh.

Needless to say, I'm an unapologetic Pacino fan--be it Panic in Needle Park, Serpico, And Justice for All, Glengarry Glen Ross, Heat, etc...it's all what I want from it: entertainment

He also had a nice turn in "Scarecrow" with Gene Hackman, '73. It kind of had a cult following at the time, but, has petered out in the 40+ years since. Has a disturbing bent to it, a sad overcast. Richard Lynch, a fine actor provides the obvious evil, but, there is something else.
