This is what's sad.only the most crustiest of Lakers fans thinks 2013 is a black Mark on the spurs or Duncan. Most true fans know it was an epic series, one of the best series ever. Most teams would kill for that kind of series. Two top five all time leaders fighting almost to a draw is a serious historical statement.

Nope. Most Lakers fans known there there are 29 losers and only one champion.
Not making the playoffs is absolutely a black mark. Losing in the pre-championship rounds is a black mark. Losing to an 8th seed as the number 1 seed is a huge black mark. And if Lakers fans know anything it's that losing in the finals, while commendable for making it that far, is most definitely a black mark as it just tosses you in with the other 28. Especially so when you give away the championship on last second shots to Don Nelson and of course Ray Allen. We find no solace in being an epic series loser.
