The great Lance Alworth was a running back while at Arkansas, but have never seen any video.
John Riggens ran a 9.8yds and was a Kansas State 100 champ in HS, and while at Kansas he did have jets. He was also lighter than what we saw as THE DIESEL later on.

That ability to evade a pass rush and extend a play becoming a bigger deal in all of football. Those days of non athletic QB's like a Tom Brady/Peytom Manning are coming to an end.
Obviously black athletes are quicker, faster, and more elusive so they do have the advantage there.
The fastest QB ever was Curtis Conway while at Hawthorne HS here in Cali. He was the state 100m champ and ran a 10.26ish while at USC. And ran a leg on their school record 4x4 team.
