Who will they get to throw <10-yd passes now?
Suffered a non-contact leg/knee injury during practice. Was supposedly so bad they cancelled practice and EMS had to rush to the scene. Career-ender?
Who will they get to throw <10-yd passes now?
sounds like it was really bad, rip
alsoat DD's comment... i cant think of many other situations where a starting QB goes down and it has zero impact in fantasy
Good. He has the sissiest arm seen in the league in a lonnnggggggg time.
rumor mill is suggesting it could be a career ender... the fact that an ambulance was needed is scaring people. theories are its a bad dislocation, which theoretically can tear all the ligaments in the region and cut off blood flow, which is why an ambulance was needed. if there is a blood flow issue it has to be resolved before amputation becomes necessary
none of this is concrete, its speculation, but throwing it out there
could also be a leg fracture like we saw with that ncaa dude a couple years back
Man that sucks for Teddy - I didn't think he was great, but seemed like a good QB with a good head on his shoulders. They have no back up at all there. This is trouble for them despite Teddy not being a guy who "wins" them games. He did enough.
The Vikes win because of a stud RB/defense, their 31 ranking passing offense, nay.
TB had a very average 2015 season. The Vikes can win without him.
Damn. Terrible luck for the Black Chad Pennington. Hope he makes a full recovery ASAP.
AP and Treadwell
so I don't think we need to wait for the team press release
Well, that's water under the bridge I guess. Sucks because I hate the Quackers with all my heart and I really hoped the Vikings would give them some compe ion this year.
ACL tear. Out for the season but definitely could've been much worse.
dislocated knee as well, which means a lot of other things got ed up. probably other torn ligaments too, mri will confirm
Knee dislocation isn't a big deal, tbh..
He'll be fine.
could be right, i've been reading different all day. not just a dislocated kneecap
When I read "significant injury" immediately I thought Kevin Ware or Paul George.![]()
Man...I don't remember that. He was a damn good runner. From the description of his injury:
McCallum suffered a complete hyperextension of his left knee, almost to a right angle. He suffered a ruptured artery in his left knee, and tore three ligaments, tore the calf and hamstring from the bone, and suffered nerve damage in the knee. He initially thought he'd only face a lengthy rehab, but McCallum's surgeon told him that there was no chance of him ever being medically cleared to play again. The surgeon said that he normally didn't see leg injuries this severe except in car accidents. Had the surgery not gone as planned, there was a chance his left leg would have been amputated
Bridgewater's injury isn't nearly as bad as McCallum's. No ruptured artery or nerve damage. It's bad, but not that bad.
Now we're talking.![]()
