    So then your answer is Yes, you would repeal (or at least rewrite) the Fourteenth Amendment.

    How exactly would you propose to define birthright citizenship in that alternate universe?
    if the mom or dad is a legal citizen the baby is a usa citizen

    What if the parents are legal immigrants, permanent residents, but never applied for citizenship. What happens to the kid? And that kid's kid?

    if they never applied their kid is not a usa citizen they can be a permanent resident just like mommy and daddy
