If McGary can be gotten for a second rounder the Spurs should take a look. Game is similar to Baynes but he's still young enough to grow into something more.

Saw in the news that MCGary is facing a 5day suspension for testing positive to weed. He didn't play much last season and could be on his way out. Collison is Bonner status, basically a vet they have to do whatever vets of his nature do for the locker room. Sabonis maybe too raw too? But yea I get your point
Lauvergne definitely takes McGary's roster spot, but unlike the latter, who was stuck behind two rotation centers, the former will only be stuck behind one rotation power forward.
Beyond next season, they'll either let Ilyasova (though more of a third big, he's their only starting power forward option) walk or try to trade Kanter. They've got Oladipo, Adams and Roberson extensions on the horizon, plus they'll have to make room for Sabonis in the rotation.
I keep forgetting they got ersan in that trade. Thats a solid 5 man big rotation when you throw him in there. If joffrey can improve three point consistency then that gives okc two decent stretch fours to go along with adams, kanter and sabonis. Sabonis may not get alot of burn this year.
tbh, can't say i'm especially looking forward to our starting frontcourt of lma and gasol going up against blake and deandre. on the defensive end.

Austin Spurs keep getting their guys in the league or in good teams.... it's a good sign for all the guys who will be assigned to Austin.
Joffrey is a great player, great guy, hard worker... and would be beautiful to watch Bertans and him playing together again.
