You guys won't believe me but the long term plan at Fox News is to move away from the Hannity style partisan commentators and into a pure bipartisan news format. More like what CNN was originally intended to be.
Could be Ailes/Trump starting a new network with Hannity and Greta could take that right wing demographic and make them the 'New" hated Fox while Fox moves to the center and true "fair and balanced" reporting.

Because of the brand reputation they've built for the last 20 years, it will take a very long time for them to attract a bipartisan audience. I'm not sure there are enough years left in the linear cable TV news format for them to get there.
