Seattle destroyed their offense and any chance of being a dynasty by going all in on a CFL-backup-caliber quarterback. Certain apologists will immediately point to the offensive line, but it's hard to build an O-line when they have so much money tied up in Struggle and they've spent so much money and assets on weapons like Jimmy Graham that are wasted on Struggle.

That OL is just BAD... I haven't seen a line get mauled like a Mack truck through a bed of marshmallows like that in a long time... RW had next to no time, and even with his legs, if you've got 4 or more blue and yellow jerseys coming after you from 4 different directions, it's practically impossible to do anything but suc b or throw it away.
There is, however, a legit argument to be made that RW could have taken less pay and requested the money be spent on a quality OL. That's a pretty hard one to refute, too.

We start getting a good read around week 7/8. Teams just trying to stay in the division hunt before that.

No NFC team compares to that.
