Maybe I jumped the gun w/ u--no pun intended. Maybe you know what you are talking about--I truly don't know. I don't know. I was a troubled as kid who did some really ed up things that I still think about everyday. It's just that there are way too many people--a lot of them gun-clutchers--who really have no idea what they're talking about as it concerns this topic. If I jumped the gun, then I apologize.
No worries man. I don't have any gang tats, but I do have asphalt scars on my face from a bike crash that people always ask if they are teardrops lol. I stayed out of trouble myself but had more than a few friends/acquaintances that got caught up in all that. Three dead and a couple still in prison.

It's just tough trying to get people to understand how ed someone is psychologically from experiencing all that on a daily basis, as victim & perpetrator. It wasn't until I had to confront my inner-demons by fortunate cir stance alone that I came to realize/know what I had & was living with all along was PTSD. And that when you have it (& it resurfaces sometimes when I don't stay on top of myself), nothing really makes any sense.
man best of luck moving forward if those thoughts pop up in the future. I'm 35 now so my days of getting in trouble are behind me. Still here some stories of old friends still ed up, couple of OD's and guys still hooked on oxy's/heroin.

It's a daily struggle for anyone who grew up seriously ed up, & some people just don't (can't ?) understand how devastating traumatic experiences growing up can be on a person, subconsciously & consciously. The only way I can put it is that juvenile/prison is the second prison you're in, if you get put in there. The first prison is your head. And if you get lucky like I did, you actually recognize it is a prison.
