Reborn is legit. Used it last year. Flash based but new improvements this year. Mobile viewing and 2 and 4 game view. Pretty sick if it all works. LP sucks, reborn isn't perfect but way better than LP. I do the yearly. But got screwed by ball streams last year when they disappeared. $15 a month if you worried.....
Im gonna try it out if it works with ps4..if not, im not buying..lol

I live in Plano and couldn't get the games that were on FSSW because they were blacked out here for other regional games. The League Pass website is maybe the worst in all of the webs. I tried to change my credit card for the autodraft and there is no way to do it. Since the old card is no longer working, I finally decided to cancel the subscription and re-order later. Maybe I'll try one of the VPN suggestions since I have a working VPN. (By the way, I saw today that the Opera browser offers a free VPN. I use Opera a lot anyway, but didn't know about the VPN access so I'll check it out.)

Finally, I have a smart TV but I'm not smart enough to be using it. Isn't there a way to get the Spurs games on the direct access of the smart TV. Do you have to get LP television accesss somehow. I'm asking yall since LP has such a website that I will be wasting my time to go there.

MLB single game package was only 85$, iirc. Hearing that it's gonna be 120$ for the NBA single team package. Half the games but 40% hike in cost? Da fuq is that bull ?

Somebody gotta pay Timofey Mosgov $64 million over the next 4 years.

People laughing at these ridiculous contracts, but we're the suckers paying for it.

I always wonder how does this work, being that you have to pay with a US credit card, I'm assuming?

I don't complain about the price in my current situation, but the black outs stink.
I even have cable, but my provider doesn't have NBA TV in the standard package, so I can't watch those live ever. I also can't watch national TV over in the internet.
It doesn't matter what credit card you use, you can even use pay pal tbh. But you set your vpn to say brazil. Log in, sign up for cheaper, then log off. Now when the season starts you lset your vpn to say Australia, Europe or something, and log in. All games will be available. I also heard, although havent tested it out yet, but you can turn your vpn off before you start a match and it still works.

If you got screwed last year when a carrier disappeared, why are you paying up front for a year with another one. Lots of these work-around carriers sound legit ,but we know some of them are pretty sketchy, no?

From what i can gather, with relatively short data, the lifetime of these sites is 3-5 years. Reborn is in its 2nd....

Everyone should have a vpn and league pass international. Then enjoy no blackouts.
So exactly how does it work when you log in. Do you log in from one of the countries served by your VPN?

So exactly how does it work when you log in. Do you log in from one of the countries served by your VPN?
Yes, so in short a vpn does 2 things. It encrypts data and masks your IP address and replaces it with another.

So the first stage is great for protection. VPN was original designed for corporates to access their work files from another location not at work. So the employer would access head office via a VPN and then send and received sensitive information and no hacker can intercept the files. This may mean nothing to you, but for example you are protected from torrenting. Your Internet Provider knows your download files but doesn't know where you are downloading your files from.

The second stage is that you can select some IP addresses and mask your location. This is perfect for any website that changes their policies depending on the client's region. For example, Yahoo sports videos cannot be accessed from my country, but when I change my location to LA, I can watch all the yahoo nba highlights. It is also good for companies that use regional pricing, such as NBA league pass. So what I did was, changed my location to Brazil. Load NBA league pass website. Log in and buy a year subscription for $130AU cheaper. That is it - I now own a year subscription to NBA league pass. Now I can log into NBA league pass on any IP address (Doesn't have to be a Brazil IP), and watch any game. If I was to use a US IP address then blackouts occur. So if a Spurs game has been blacked out, access an Australian VPN, then load the page up, sign in, and boom you are watching a Spurs game.

There are other little tricks for internet shopping. Eg, 2k Games use regional pricing, so games like NBA 2k is $10US more here in Australia just because I am here in Australia, even when buying it digitally. So although Steam can ban my account if I was to use a VPN to change my IP region and purchase games through their store, I can however buy a CD key from another websites like Greenmangaming. I make my IP address US, buy the game for the standard US price, then receive my key, activate it on steam, and boom I got NBA 2k for $10 US cheaper, which is like $15AU cheaper. You can also do this for Origin store, which is EA. I bought Battlefield 4 with a Mexican IP address, which made the game a whole lot cheaper.

So in short, buy a VPN to save you money for internet shopping, flexibility, and security. I hope this makes sense.

I am not doubting you, but I used a vpn for years. I once even accidentally had a US VPN activated when I logged into LP and noticed all these blacks outs. I turned it off and logged back in, and everything was normal again. I have paid NBA League Pass using Indian money, Argentina, and this year Brazil.

I agree. Have had LP for past several seasons. Totally worth it for rabid NBA fans. Don't understand the criticism. I guess people want everything for free.

Exacrtly! Spurs games are often only on FSSW but in Plano they get preempted for other FSSW feeds such as soccer matches or other NBA games which I assume the powers at FSSW think are of more interest to folks in the Dallas metro area. So I pay for games that i should be able to see on LP, but don't get them. LP just says they have no control over FoxSSW but they don't offer to give me a refund either. It's a problem in their system that creates a rip off IMHO>so I'm up for doing whatever I can to get better service for the money I pay.

By the way, does anyone know about how the smart tv version of LP works?

Unless you live outside of The US and Canada, NBALP isnt eexactly quality service...
