What would I have done if I had sunk millions of dollars into Miss Universe and the winner who signed multiple contracts reneged on them? taken her to court for breaking those legal contracts? or make some loutish remarks? And I wonder if it would have mattered if it was a woman who made those loutish remarks and not the male Republican nominee. People are way too sensitive about weight - in this case, they're not supposed to just let themselves go - it's business or rather multiple businesses (clothes, makeup, beauty contest, etc.) and if she can't fulfill her obligations, then she ought to have given up the crown, scholarships, clothes, shoes, makeup, etc and let the runner-up have them.
