lol. I said it at the time, that he may have cost his team the Championship. I still thought they only had 10% chance of losing it even with his suspension, but fortunately, the laugh was on Green. Complete and utter idiot trying to get away with the same thing multiple times, especially after they were looking at him more closely for doing it previously in the playoffs. Draymond and his team got exactly what they deserved.

Hindsight being 20/20 the Dubs three weaknesses were: 1) Curry is injury prone 2) No matter how good, they're still a jump shooting team and cold streaks can cost you games 3) Draymond is unhinged and could cost his team when it matters.
As good as they were it's amazing that all 3 came back to bite them in the ass. Weirdly enough, the fact that they blew a chance at history doesn't really seem to (at least publicly) bother them because they won the Durant sweepstakes.
I think they'll win a le or possibly two in the next 5 years, but doubt very much they're going to go on a massive multi- le run. Too injury prone among other things. Spurs have a damn good chance to bring back another LOB if they keep Kawhi and LMA together and Pop coaching.
Some compare Draymond to Dennis Rodman. But the Worm (when engaged) was crazy like a fox, while Draymond is crazy like a fool. Rodman would bait others into mistakes, Draymond always seems to be at risk to BE the baited, not the baiter.

The Rodman comparisons are inane. I always laugh whenever there is a loudmouth crazy defense player and the media anoints that player as the next Rodman. I heard the same thing about Artest several years ago when the media would scream "He's just like Rodman." What most people don't realize is Rodman was skilled in mind games and psychological warfare. He knew when to throw a cheapshot and when not to, and how to cover up a dirty play very well. He also knew what his opponents triggers were emotionally. Rodman didn't talk a lot of trash but he made sure when he said something that it would make his opponents blood boil. Rodman to me was the NBA's version of the Joker. Overall mentally Rodman was a very calculative person. Draymond has none of the qualities Rodman had. Draymond personality wise reminds me a lot of Gary Payton in the sense that he runs his mouth non stop and talks a lot of .
Pretty sure Green isn't going to grab 30 boards a night. Dennis was insane (literally and figuratively).
Not to mention Rodman played in an era where flagrant fouls didn't exist.

Definitely I was lamenting the fact that I knew the Lakers would bomb on defense and not be able to hold the lead. The point you made was well made with still over 7 minutes to go in the 3rd Q, the Lakers already had 75 points... that was insane bad defense from GSW.
Truly I don't think they have it in the playoffs, they go through phases where they can't stop anybody... and Dworst? Kevon Looney playing better than him.
