    Didn't they come out a little after Trump's audio came out? Probably Assange trying to counter-act/do damage control for Trump - you know how he hates HC. Assange knew Bernie wouldn't win with the DNC fix - was keeping it for the General to try to bury her but maybe had to release earlier than he wanted to counter this audio. Hopefully he has more to try to counter whatever else Hillary has on Trump from The Apprentice. Maybe Russian hackers originally got it - but Wiki is the one controlling the timing of release. I don't think they would normally have released late on a Friday before a holiday weekend but had to because of the audio.

    Wikileaks has released another batch of purported emails from Clinton campaign Chairman John Podesta. The release comes after Clinton squirmed faced tough questioning at last night's debate about speech excerpts in a batch of emails released Friday by the group.

    Clinton was asked about excerpts in which she purportedly claimed to hold a private and a public position on political issues. She responded by saying she was making reference to Abraham Lincoln's fight to pass the 13th Amendment -- a claim for which she was mocked by rival Donald Trump.
