haha, Ime Udoka just said on the post-game interview with Bill Schoning that the first unit is the "iso unit" and the 2nd unit is the "Summer unit."
Summer unit with Fathead passing up shots. lol
Love that dude but what can be done about him passing up shots. Dude, chucking mode. What about send him to the dleague on a chuck-o-rama. lol

I dont know what it is, he was shooting fine in SL, don't think lower level compe ion will help at this point.

Maybe a few yell-a-thons from Pop. Where is that gif?

    Kyle: shoot the m-efing ball!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd agree. Some of it was he got stuck with some crappy guards but a lot of its on him on O. On D he started OK but faded.
yea the guards were crappy. He was there with Kawhi and LMA though. I am rooting for him, I am glad he got a good long look with LMA and Kawhi. I really think he has a chance to impact but defense is where it's at for Pop you know how he is.

I think they do pick someone up, they can always cut someone if they need it. They have done that the past couple of season.

Though I don't know how having to cut Ray Mac, the Butler will sit with Pop. It's tougher on the locker room too I imagine.

I think I am partial to Garino... but wouldn't surprise me if they go Forbes for the shooting.

How do you like Lapro vs. Murray?
I donīt think any of the rookies did particulary well.

Garino did well in very limited time, forbes did well shooting and nothing else.

Dedman continues too be that and Lapro and Murray didnīt play well.

    Kawhi being Kahwi.
    Pau getting more comfy.
Anderson meh (except that sterling pass to a running Pau Gasol)
    Aldridge has played better...and will.
Lee looked better tonight than he did in the previous games.
Forbes was awful except for hitting those 2 big threes at the end to help seal the win.
Bertans has basically replaced Matt Bonner. He just needs to keep moving without the ball.
Simmons needs to dunk next time when the camera isn't focused on a 9-year old girl.

Anderson was a complete anchor except for one, single play.
Not going to cut it... He better light a fire from here on.

As far as place holder signings, Forbes has the edge b/c he can ALREADY be used as a situational spot-up shooter. If he learns to run off screens then there might be a permanent spot for him in the league as a career backup.

How do you like Lapro vs. Murray?
Leprosy is a total scrub who can't even manage a game & Murray is out there playing a pickup game.

Yeah, but Bertans didn't have such a great game. As for Dedmon, I'm seriously getting worried. David Lee looked good thought
Agreed on Lee. He had not looked good with Dedmon, but who can look good with Dedmon?

Pop might be considering Lee/Bertans/Anderson... I am sure he was testing Bertans with two much better frontcourt partners in LMA and Kawhi.

As you said, the guard play being poor complicates the evaluation, but Patty is no dogged defender and Manu is still great, but when he's not playing it would be some combination of Murray (gets lost on defense all the time, really literally all the time) or J.Simms (he's past the stage of getting lost to that degree thankfully, but he's not great either.)... He's better than the guards he was in the game with though.

I think they keep trying Dedmon for some games, but you have been following Spurs longer than me: At what point will Pop raise the alarm?

Seriosuly, at least Pau isnt doing dribble hand-offs with Green like Aldridge used to do in his first year .

This is the reason I'm in favor of Garino over Forbes. If Andre Roberson can start on a contender then Garino can at least be a backup if he can knockdown open shots.

That's assuming he'd take the shot

He's got valuable skills and tools that the spurs can utilize, but if hes out there playing like the Tony Allen of All Tony Allen..he wont make it.

Just send him to the D-League and tell him to work on his offense.

Really impressed with Lees Roll game....

We had zero guys last year who can actually roll.

Dedmon played much better...So much better than the Suns game.

    Worried about Kyle.

Murray is the most confident Rookie since Kawhi 2011..bit of a ballhog though.

Just finished watching... what's important about this game is that the Spurs are undefeated when Manu plays so far... that a good sign going into the season, tbh...

Not all on Manu though. Sh** the Spurs could've had Boban on the cheap over over priced TOSB Gasoft.

Also, Kyle with another question mark game when it comes to being aggressive, IMO... In the 1st half, they looked for him quite a bit, and you wouldn't know he was playing at times...
