Did anyone else get the email from nba.com that you can now watch live preseason games?

International League Pass has blackouts even in Canada? Does this apply even if you're watching it from outside of Canada?

    No

I've been subscribing to NBALP since somewhere around 2001 or 2002. I'm itching to ditch the cable, but can't find an alternative that takes care of my Spurs fix. Live streams can be spotty, and with League Pass on cable, I can record to the DVR and play at my convenience (which is usually after the wife falls asleep lol).

Appreciate it my man. Most of the internet streams are only available live, or only become available for playback mode after the game is over or the next day. I have a very specific window to be able to watch games.

Also, with internet feeds, even the NBALP Broadband access, it's so hard to navigate through commercials and free throw attempts without losing your place. There's no easy 30-second forward button, and it would take 10 seconds to buffer even if it existed. With a DVR, I can watch a 2.5 hour game in 75-90 minutes.

Not only is it the only legal and right way to get Spurs games out of market, there simply isn't another platform that will offer what I need. It's not perfect, but it's the best I've got for now.

I didn't think there was a team option with International League Pass? I thought you either pay monthly or annually and with both you get to watch every team.

Didn't get offered ILP team option either . There was no way I was going to pay the ripped off special for Australians of $329 so joined up through Canada.

    Thanks for the head up.

lI did too. Used my VPN server in Montreal. Paid the annual fee and Got my confirmaiton and everything--- and then could't watch any of the first 5 games. Got a message that the game was blacked out because it was available in Canada on TV which was patently bull . Is this NBA international working for anybody?

I've heard that the best place to proxy/vpn through is India, apparently cheapest + no blackouts. Here in Chile it usually goes for about 200 usd/ year 15 / month, I'll do like last year and wait for the final months of the season to go month to month depending on how healthy/good the team is...

So how did you sign up and where do you "watch from" when you sign in?

I'd pay for the US version of LP if it was worth a . Last year about half my Spurs games were blacked out because the games were broadcast on FoxSW. The trouble with that was the FSSSW is a regional network and in the Dallas metro area they weren't showing the Spurs like they were in SA or somewhere. All I could get would be some stupid soccer match. The LP folks said that was a local decision and tough . So the straight NBA LP is not an option for me.

Czn you give me a link for reborn. I can't seem to find the right website with just that name.

I live in DFW and have had LP here for the 12 years I've been here. Never had a FSSW blackout, using Dish or U-verse.

wELL, iM IN pLANO and Plano has/had Verizon, but it is now Frontier. I expect it would be the same problem.

    I wonder if it's a Verizon/Frontier issue. I'm in Frisco, but I've used Dish and U-verse.
