    Damian Lillard is one of best point guards in the NBA. I don't expect Russell to be as good as Lillard at this point. He hasn't even played his second year in the NBA. His elbow jumper is money though

    I think the Blazers are a first maybe second round exit playoff team for the next few years or so. Now that they locked in all these new contracts they are married to this roster for the next 4 or 5 years. They have little to no cap space available and no free agent is going to sign there. They are going to be stuck in mediocrity for a half a decade because of those contracts. Other than Lillard they have a nice collection of serviceable players and some nice legit pieces

    I'd still be pretty excited if I were a Laker fan. The departure of Kobe and Byron Scott means the world for Ingram/Russell/Randle/Clarkson's development. They'll be a better team than last year.
