Yeah, you're independent like Wild Cobra is.
Voter ID laws are not intended to prevent just anyone from voting. They are intended to prevent people from voting multiple times, or voting if they are not citizens of this country, etc. Quite bizarre to defend against a pretty reasonable request. I was in a bind and I stopped by a library the other day to print something and I had to show ID. The resources are paid for by San Antonians, and guests are tracked separately.

But, the foundation of our democratic republic, the right to vote for who represents us, you want to be watered down by anyone willing to vote multiple times or influence despite noncitizenship without showing ID? I spend time and do business in other countries where I am not a citizen. I have no overwhelming sense of en lement that this should allow me to vote in the elections of those countries.
I am even required to keep my ID on my person just while walking on the street of one of the more wealthy latin american countries. Might be required in most or all. I do not know. I have only been stopped at gunpoint and told to do so because I was white in one of them. Luckily my wife is a citizen of that country, as well.

This seems a no ing brainer. Democrats, Republicans, and Independents should all be able to agree on that. The fact that you see it so slanted against your beliefs should be a warning sign that you're a little off.

A democratic voting official was just caught on camera lamenting the fact that he has gotten more conservative over the years due to this issue, seeing the process undermined by rampant casting of multiple votes. Seeing voters bussed from location to location to vote multiple times.

This is not the All-Star game. Or...well...it is but should not be. There should be some integrity to the process. Whoever we elect, there should be confidence in the fact that the person was elected fairly.

The numbers of people that are denied a vote because they don't have any ID pale in comparison to the cheating. We all have ID. It is almost impossible to live without it. Even the poor. And, if an elderly person has lost theirs, etc. An affadavit could be signed by an accompanying friend or family member testifying that the person is who they say they are. It really isn't that complicated except for those that want to keep the foul practice going.

Of Course, if you are against illegal immigration, it is easy to just be labled as a racist. Let's ignore the fact that, for example, Panamanians are experiencing a flood of Venezuelans across their border and are not too happy about it. I guess Panamanians are racists? Or, could it just be that a country should be able to monitor who comes in and out of their country, and who is granted citizenship? Are Panamanians crazy to think this?

And, voting should not necessarily be without any effort. Like serving on a jury, it is a duty. The minimum effort of having ID should not be argued as punitive. These are not Jim Crow laws, and attempting to spin them as such are an insult to the people that suffered under Jim Crow laws.

My biggest objection to a Trump presidency is that it would turn power over to the far right wing house of representatives. A branch that is only so far to the right because of gerrymandering of congressional districts. You'd have a far right minority writing laws that a President Trump would then sign into law.

Sure, it`s obvious choice if you think that.

I`m asking, because after reading some reddit, most of attacks on Trump are strictly personal - he said that, he dit that, racists, facist, "sexual predator". WTF. Meanwhile Clinton has very shady dealings with e-mails and their fundatation. Rarely someone are talking about polices, foreign affair, which should matter the most - the direcation for USA to go in the future.

This is an age-old practice. It is common knowledge. Various methods. Constantly being exposed. Google search "dead people voting" or watch the video below of a NY democratic voting official, etc. You can bury your head in the sand, but that will not alter reality. Calling it "horse " won't, either.

Texas Police Chief Vows to Punish Officers in Trump Caps

San Antonio's police chief is vowing to discipline more than a dozen officers seen in a Donald Trump campaign video wearing "Make America Great Again" caps while in uniform.

In a statement posted to the city's Twitter account, Chief William McManus says the officers "displayed poor judgment" and violated city policy. McManus says they "will be disciplined appropriately," but didn't elaborate.

The San Antonio Express-News reports a video on Trump's Twitter account shows at least 14 members of his motorcycle escort wearing the signature red caps after escorting Trump to San Antonio International Airport on Tuesday. In the 25-second video, Trump is heard saying "Thank you, fellas" to the officers. Several officers then thank the Republican presidential nominee and gave him a thumbs-up sign

Voter fraud doesn't happen by using live bodies to cast false votes. That just maximizes risk of being caught for minimum benefit.

Voter fraud happens with boxes of new votes or destruction of such boxes (or whatever) behind the scenes. Voter ID won't stop that.

Bonner was actually a big part of keeping Game 4 of the WCF close and forcing Brooks to play Durant and Westbrook really heavy minutes, which killed them in Game 5. Bonner's OK in my book, he earned his 2014 ring with his performance in that critical game in OKC.
That dunk that Leonard laid on Ibaka in game 6 had a big assist from Bonner, when you look at the full play Bonner is in the right corner spotting up and Ibaka is toggling the baseline trying to figure out when to leave him. By the time Leonard got past KD and Westbrook, Ibaka was too late getting back and got dunked on.

I also think that he was solid in 2013 during the Memphis series. He gave ZBo problems and forced him outside of the paint which opened things up for Parker and Manu to slash, one game Parker wound up having 18 assists which probably was helped with the extra space.

I'm not a partisan; that's all I can tell you. I don't think GWB is any better than Obama for instance. Really, I'm against the corruption at all levels. I'm not a cheerleader. You want to cast me as some obstinate force b/c I probably oppose a lot of BS that you go to bat for.

That implies that Hillary would go to bat for the Poles. She doesn't give a f*ck about them. In fact, it was Obama who pulled the missile defense out of Poland. If anything, you got it the other way around, dude.

Trump hats land San Antonio police in trouble

In this Aug. 27, 2016 file photo, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump speaks in Des Moines, Iowa. (AP Photo/Gerald Herbert, File)

    By The Washington Post
    on October 12, 2016 at 8:55 AM

More than a dozen officers from the San Antonio Police Department will face punishment for wearing Donald Trump's "Make America Great Again" hats in a video tweeted out Tuesday by the Republican nominee, the city's police chief said.
The video, posted at 5:35 p.m., shows Trump smiling and posing for pictures on the tarmac at San Antonio International Airport with a group of uniformed motorcycle officers, at least 14 of them wearing the campaign's signature red baseball caps.
Trump's tweet calls on people to register to vote at the Republican National Committee's vote.gop website, and the video ends with bold white text reading, "We will make America safe and great again, together!"
The officers' apparent show of support drew swift criticism from city and police officials, who said it violated department policy.
San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said the officers should not have worn the hats and "will be disciplined appropriately."
"I expect them to know better than to give the appearance of endorsing a candidate while on duty and in uniform," McManus said in a statement, "regardless of the political campaign or the candidate."
Mayor Ivy Taylor said in a tweet that she was disappointed in the officers' "lack of judgment."
"Police must be above politics and serve everyone equally," she said. "Everything they do should send that message and today's actions did not."
The 25-second video opens with Trump standing outside his plane, flanked by officers in the red campaign hats, as one officer takes a picture with his iPhone. The candidate says, "Thank you, fellas," and shakes some officers' hands before turning to leave. "Thank you, sir," multiple officers say as others give him a thumbs-up.
As Trump boards his plane, the video shows a group of at least 14 officers wearing the hats walk across the tarmac to their motorcycles.
The officers were from a department motorcycle unit that escorts politicians and other dignitaries when they come to town, the San Antonio Express-News reported. On Tuesday, they helped transport Trump's motorcade to and from the airport while the candidate was in town for a private fundraiser.
Mike e, president of the San Antonio Police Officers Association, said the department prohibits political displays while officers are on-duty. He told the Express-News he was surprised that they decided to wear the hats, but expects the punishment to be light.
"It seems kind of benign," e said. "They'd probably get a written reprimand or counseling to not do that sort of thing on duty."
San Antonio policy bars public employees from engaging in political activity on the job.
Throughout the campaign, Trump has boasted about his support from the law enforcement community, telling a North Carolina police union in August that the law enforcement vote for him "could be unanimous" in November. "I'm on your side a thousand percent," he said in the speech.
The Fraternal Order of Police, which represents 325,000 law enforcement officers, endorsed Trump for president, saying he "understands and supports our priorities, and our members believe he will make America safe again."
The Trump campaign found itself in hot water late last month, when it released an advertisement showing Trump talking with on-duty Phoenix police officers. The video shows a brief clip of Trump standing on an airport tarmac with a group of uniformed officers, one of them shaking his hand. City Attorney Brad Holm sent the campaign a cease-and-desist letter saying the ad violated federal and state law.
"The officers depicted in the ad were in uniform precisely because they were on duty performing work for Phoenix at the time," Holm wrote. "In this context, the ad unmistakably and wrongfully suggests that Phoenix and the officers support or endorse Mr. Trump's campaign."

Is that reason you are using? Because I only list a few you assume that is all there is? There are numerous cases. They go on and on. Recent and back in time as far back as you want to look. I have no interest in showing them ALL to you. No matter what time I spent organizing them for you, you would just dismiss them. I have no need to prove water is wet.

And, these are just the ones that get caught and publicized, mind you. In many of the places where there things take place, no one will ever get caught, publicized, or prosecuted. In these places the fox is often guarding the henhouse. What you see in these examples are the few roaches out when you turn the light on. You don't see all of them in the walls.

A nice article. From a guy that didn't think voter fraud was a problem to begin with, concluding voter fraud is not a problem. Also being a member of the unnamed party that benefits the most from voter fraud. Color me shocked he couldn't find any significant cases.
