I'd still be pretty excited if I were a Laker fan. The departure of Kobe and Byron Scott means the world for Ingram/Russell/Randle/Clarkson's development. They'll be a better team than last year.

I think the Blazers are a first maybe second round exit playoff team for the next few years or so. Now that they locked in all these new contracts they are married to this roster for the next 4 or 5 years. They have little to no cap space available and no free agent is going to sign there. They are going to be stuck in mediocrity for a half a decade because of those contracts. Other than Lillard they have a nice collection of serviceable players and some nice legit pieces

We'll be in the mix for the WCF this year. The Blazers have collected some nice young talent and they are all getting better at the same time.

Surprised how agile and quick Mozgov was last night , Very fluid, question now is will his knees hold up. Deng looks good. Clarkson is blossoming into a star player, very smooth. Randle and DLo both looked very confident. Preseason talk but afaik they at least enjoy playing together. Post Kobe Lakers will be very fun tonwatch.
