Thanks!!
Its on league pass. Links should be plentiful
Thanks!!
I'm tired of people trolling Parker for his dribble dribble dribble on Twitter...At least he's working with his trainer this preseason instead of eating donuts!
I agree, Spurs social media accounts are "meh". Too conventional and conservative.

My take:
Laprovittola is the one making the team.
Very few are capable of that pass right there.
It's Lappy, then Forbes, then Anthony. If they don't trade or waive anyone it's just Lappy, but he's a heck of a player, the combination of his shooting, passing and BBIQ won me over.
I like Forbes bc he's just a pure shooter and scorer, but he will be in Austin and can be picked up midseason if needed. Lappy meanwhile is a player who will bolt for international play if he's not making this team right now, and he's worth that last spot.
Is Timmy getting det basketball itch already agzin or the knee is feeling better?
Just a workout, my guess of course.
Manu said that it was so fast last season, the high standards blah blah blah, but if the Spurs aren't fully engaged defensively this new season after the first games...they're ed.
San Diego State’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony Friday will take place without the school’s greatest basketball player.
Kawhi Leonard is one of five former Aztecs set to be honored, but he made it clear Monday he would rather participate in the Spurs’ preseason finale against Houston at the AT&T Center than be feted by his alma mater.
“My goal right now is to get this team better,” Leonard said. “I thank San Diego State for honoring me, and I wish those guys luck in the upcoming season. They understand what I’m trying to accomplish.”
Leonard is the second Spur to be honored by his college this preseason. Last Friday night, with the team’s permission, LaMarcus Aldridge skipped a home game against Miami to be ushered into Texas’ Hall of Honor in Austin.
“Kawhi is a lot like Timmy in that regard,” said Popovich, referring to recently retired Spurs great Tim Duncan. “Accolades don’t mean anything to him. He just wants to win NBA championships. It really is all he thinks about as far as basketball is concerned.”

As a Spurs fan it sounds great.
But to be honest, I feel bad for those many Aztec fans who are waiting to see him at Viejas Arena again.
Don't want to read between lines but this isn't the best way to build chemistry...Aldridge can think that Kawhi's exposing him with his decision.
Don't take this in a bad way, but that is mainly a public social event that I don't think Kawhi would even enjoy going to, so why go when he's got his mind on other things? Kawhi has even declined Team USA to focus on his game etc.
Not surprising that Kawhi prefers playing with the team than go to the ceremony in San Diego. I like what Pop said comparing him to Tim- not caring much about 'accolades' and just wanting to 'win championships.'
If Tim Duncan suddenly returned.....
spurstalk would explode, literally!!! hahahahaha

Manu is still his old intelligent self......
Manu would thrive in Westeros, tbh, hahahahahahaha
Diva Aldridge. Good thing Kawhi just cares about what's best for the team.
Sorry, you're right.
I've said before that I'm excited but so scared at the same time about this new season. I was optimistic after the first two preaseason games, now with the season set to begin in less than a week, I'm in the dark side. So worried and scared.![]()
Possible struggles bc so many new players, specially the bigs which are so important defensively. And the concerns you have are well known. We know the guys who are old and may fall off, we know the bigs who are offensive minded and struggle on defense, we know the younger guys who have looked only so so, and then Pop has spent a long time trying to decide on camp cuts, and given extensive looks to rookies like Bertans and Murray to get a sense for what he has there b4 the games start counting. It's only normal to me to have some trepidation with so many new faces, but that's what makes it exciting to me.
When games count Kawhi will play more and will step up too. Pop will want to win and not put guys out there just because he wants to see what happens.

Loved that part.
Tim led this team by example in many ways, and now it seems like Kawhi is taking a page out of TD's book, showing his guys that the team is everything and championships are over individual accolades.
Thanks!!![]()
I just don't know where to put this but it belongs on ST. Kind of taking the Spurs colors but with a really confusing message:
