I'm of the opinion that Pop only wants to test certain scenarios and if by doing that, they win, he's pleased and if he loses, then he's happy that he got to test certain scenarios.

That's the main reason why I think we get blown out. Pop doesn't care if we win, and the Dubs will be frothing to avenge their Finals collapse and show how dominant they will be this season - all in the first game.

Pop's going to punk the Warriors and TNT and start all rookies and other young guns. He will be fined by the league and get a nasty letter from Warriors' owner Joseph Lacob. Robert Sarver chimes in and calls Pop a coward and offers free gifts to Warrior fans if they should visit Phoenix.

The Spurs may lose, but this has all the makings of a trap game. I can't see that there's any pressure on them at all, and they usually play well when down a player. The superteams have historically taken a while to gel, and this is a perfect opportunity for the Spurs to sneak in and steal one. Pop typically has his players ready to go, and even more so when a starter is out.

If I predict the Spurs win, they'll get blown out, so Warriors by 30.

That's the spirit! I'm with you. I had a random thought that Melissa in those chaps would make quite the splash walking down the streets of Riga! Might raise a few eyebrows here too!

Kyle starting. With that snail out there, I doubt Spurs reach 18 points in the first quarter

    Warriors by 40 at least.
Oh ing , its all over.

Thanks for putting yourself before the team, Kyle.

Who has a better chance for a breakout game of 30+? Pau or Aldridge?

Spurs lose by 22 after cutting the lead down from 30+. The silver lining is that this game will be no indication on how the season will go or end. The Warriors won't win the le this year. They lost too much and replaced it with someone who won't give them much more than what they already had. GS didn't have a problem scoring, they had a problem with their interior defense and toughness. They will no doubt cruise to a top seed again but will most likely lose to the Cavs or someone else along the way.

I'm not sure how the Spurs will do but a Championship or coming out of the West is unlikely. Too many new pieces this year. I HOPE I'M WRONG and will be thrilled to see this team come together for #6.

    spread is gsw -9

    i say at least 15

Meh..15 point deficit to start the 4th. Starters never see the court un the 4th.

    Seriously GS....
the shots Durant and Klay were getting in the pre-season were a joke..just don't see us withstanding the barrage, i ll be optimistic and say 13-19 but really wouldn't be surprised if our doors get blown off like in that January game...
Really should be a 30+ option.
The Spurs are going to be the whipping boy for the new look Warriors tonight.

Probably won't even reach 10 points in the first quarter. This team is fool's gold. Probably not even gonna make the playoffs.
When vending machine head started last game, Spurs had 6 points at the 6 minute mark in the first quarter.... against a bunch of scrubs led by D'Antoni....

Spurs won't reach 50 wins and the Product Of Tim, Popovich, gets sacked.
