I came in expecting the L, and woulda been satisfied with a close game, tbh
I don't think I felt this giddy at any time last season, tbh. Such a cool, unexpected W!

No kidding. I just wanted them to be compe ive and not get steamrolled. This was awesome.
I seriously love this team!
what a way to start the post Timmy era
So glad to have the NBA back, tbh

Yeah, this is the exact opposite of last season. We had such an exciting offseason, and such big expectations, and then got beaten by OKC in the opener. This year we're all negative, and they curb stomp GSW in the opener. It can't get much farther apart.
Yeah. Me too. We can't make too much of this so early but their bench looks weak.
The Warriors were undefeated at home last year until like April.![]()
The lack of movement by the starters and the settling for jumpers looked just like the OKC game as well. Simmons and Mills deserve a load of credit for just changing the complexion of the game with their energy.
And our bench looked better than I expected. My first hope is that Simmons can continue to play within himself and within the offense as he did tonight.
Just put the league on notice. I believe they feel disrespected hope they keep that feeling all season.
This one is so good.
Amen, brother!![]()
Agree 100 hundred percent
Spurs just giving the league more film on how to defeat GSW. Our switching cost them a ring last year.
The lineup w/o Porker/Pau getting toasted on PnRs.
Three game home losing streak
Great start to his next chapter. I hope he keeps up that record.
Spurs come away with a 29-point win over the Warriors. According to Elias, only one team has ever lost a season opener by 20 or more points and then bounced back to win the NBA le. That was the St. Louis Hawks who were blown out by Bill Russell's Celtics on opening night in 1957 before then beating the Celtics later that year in the NBA Finals.
Klay thompson does not look happy at all. His body language was not good. Being a third fiddle offensively might very well leave him disgruntled.
That was awesome to watch. That's how you start a new era. I bet 98% of current and ex nba players who watched that game were giddy as to watch that beatdown
