So glad we're done with these no boxout dudes..can't rebound for .

Ew.Good riddance indeed.
Lee seems to be an upgrade over West. Anyone else see when he dropped Simmons and got called for the offensive foul? He had his patented temper tantrum. I just laughed.
Dude is the new Kendrick Perkins.![]()
He'll have his moments but he's a net negative for the most part. The pnp had to go. Glad that Lee can do both and is a better passer in general but especially on the roll.
Agree. Though I will never bash Boris because of the brilliance of 2014. He was huge (no pun) in that run.
Not gonna hate on Bobo.
Butat David Worst, ring chasing and can't rebound.
Wow what a stat line!!! I never liked DWorst. Sure while he was a Spur you had to root for him and his passing and the jumper were nice but I had seen enough of his share of defense an the lack of boxing out and boarding. I hope he costs the GSW a few games.
Lee is definitely a more energetic player.![]()
Wow .... I am kind of thinking that if they were still in the Spurs they don't come away with this win... Diaw was more savvy within the system and his chemistry helped him... but DWorst as terrible last season against GSW.
Yep..Other than his love affair with Bonner, Pop actually has good feel as to when a role player is done with the team and it's time to move one.
Also PATFO saved a life in the process: UNT Eagles 2016![]()

DWest triple double last night.
2 pts 2 rebs 2 fouls
He knew when not to play Bonner after that 2011 series tho. And Bonner improved big time after that. Bonner was more than just a role player, he actually was a staple in the lockerroom. West, not so much.
I had forgotten a little bit about David Lee. Dude played like he cared. It was nice to see.
So far, the "West for DLee swap" is looking good.
Boris.. sometimes makes me feel like he doesn't deserve this talents![]()
I would caution y'all, d west is playing a against a team with great interior defense. Lee wasn't. Like last year, West dude is going to be expected to play center more than he should.
If we had the either west or Diaw they'd both have good games against this small gsw team. But lee won't be any worse than those guys, but he's not much better than either west or DiaW in the long run.
Been saying it all off-season.
Spurs only had one big last year in the playoff rotation that had a pulse. Duncan was done, West was done and Boris only had coffee keeping him awake. Dedmon was going to be an auto upgrade on West. Gasol was going to be an auto upgrade on Duncan. Then Bertans/Lee replaced the unmotivated photographer.
So glad West didn't want to come back. If he did, he's probably here instead of Lee. At least Lee is still active.
You are probably right in that Lee is no game changer. But West did look very bad this game, he was committing bad fouls, just overall, not good.
We were lucky to have both players. I'll leave it at that.
Dedmon looked totally lost on offense last night. Those dunk attempts were painful to watch, but I did like his D. He is athletic. I'm hoping he improves on the other end. His awareness needs work he messed up the spacing a couple times.
His ability to defend the PnR in space and defend the rim is an auto upgrade on West, no matter what he does offensively.
I like Boris but he is a lazy ass, and regarding West... that fake tuff nigglet.
