First QB in history to start their pro football career with two 100 QB ratings.

Winngest QB in history at this stage of their career.

Has that very rare three times more TD's than INTS. There are HOFers with more INT's than TD's.

How many QB's have won a playoff game in their first 4 seasons of pro football?

Lead the NFL with a 110.1 QB rating in 2015.

The guy never sat on a bench, he walked right in beat out the starter and then preceded to win more games than any QB in history and play in two SB in his first three seasons. By year two he had already won more SB's than.....

    Dan Marino
    Philip Rivers
    Warren Moon
    John Unitas
    Dan Fouts
    Jim Kelly
    Fran Tarkenton
    Cam Newton
    Ken Anderson

    .......combined.

And he has done all that without any GREAT receivers or TE's.

    As of right now.....

    Career numbers.

    RW comp% 64.8, QB rating 100.3
    Tom Brady 63.7, 97.0

    How about Peyton Manning?
    comp% 65.3
    QB rating 96.5

    Joe Montana?

I'm sure it makes you feel better to regurgitate all that non-sense, but the fact is, he really puts up high QB ratings, because he makes safe throws most of the game. Doesn't have the ability to consistently fit it in tight windows like a Brees or a Brady. He faced a struggling decimated defense and put up 13 points while Brees faced the best D in the league and scored pts on his final 6 possessions. RW is a good QB, but he's not as elite as the numbers you show. He basically makes plays out of the pocket and really waits till someone is wide open when throwing downfield. I was at the game yesterday and I wasn't that impressed. No doubt Jimmy Graham knows he will never put up the type of numbers in Seattle like he did with Brees.

    Are you kidding me, hahahaha~~~~~~

    It works like this, ok?

You wanna compare Brees or anyone to another player, well ya do with the same amount of experience, ok?

Here is Brees career, now compare his first 4 seasons and 8 games to Russell Wilson, tell me what you see.
    http://www.pro-football-reference.co...B/BreeDr00.htm

Look at what Brady did before 27, ok?

    http://www.pro-football-reference.co...B/BradTo00.htm

BUT.....Yes RW will never be on a level with Tom Brady or Drew Brees, or Joe Montana. or Peyton Manning or Aaron Rodgers, BUT......after 4 seasons and 8 games he played better than any of them, if ya don't believe me take a few minutes and check out the stats. RW has had the best first 4 seasons and 8 games ever seen.

Russell Wilson is 26 years old , ok? What 26 year old has played better, well?

When it comes to winning games, winning playoff games, SB's, stats, combined, what QB did it better than RW before 27 years of age?

When considering the totality of Russell Wilson's accomplishments, they truly are amazing. True, there are some QB's with more yards, or more TD's, etc., but Wilson is ranked in the top 5 or top 10 of a wide variety of stats over his first three years. One could easily say that overall, Wilson has had the best first three years of any QB in NFL history. Here are a few of his accomplishments:

    - Wilson is the first QB in NFL history with a passer rating of over 95.0 in each of his first three seasons.
    - Wilson has 24 games with a passer rating of 100+ in his first three seasons...more than any other QB in NFL history. Flacco, Marino, and Palmer are tied for second with 19.
    - Wilson leads all QB’s in the NFL over the last 3 years with 10- 4th quarter comebacks and 15- game-winning drives. No other QB in NFL history has ever done this in their first 3 years.
    - He is one of only five players with at least 20 touchdown passes in each of first three seasons.
    - Wilson is the first and only QB in the Super Bowl era to have average yards per attempt of 7.6 or better in each of his first three seasons.
    - Wilson’s career yards per passing attempt of 7.9 is fourth-best of all QB’s since 1951.
    - Wilson is ranked #1 in career postseason yards per attempt. His career average of 9.01 (min. 200 pass attempts) is the highest in NFL history.
    - Wilson is the only QB in NFL history to appear in two SB's in his first three seasons.
    - Wilson holds the record for most passing yards in a playoff game by a rookie QB with 385 yards. The old record was set in 1937 by Sammy Baugh with 335 yards...that record stood for 75 years.
    - Wilson is ranked at #2 in all-time career passer rating (min. 1200 attempts) with a 98.6. Only Aaron Rodgers has a higher career passer rating.
    - Wilson's passer rating of 98.6 for a player’s first 3 years is the best in NFL history.
    - Including postseason, Wilson's passer rating of 98.5 for a player's first three years is the best in NFL history.
    - Wilson's postseason passer rating of 97.8 in his first three years is the best in NFL history.
    - Wilson’s career postseason passer rating of 97.8 (min. 200 attempts) is the 5th best in NFL history.
    - Wilson's TD% of 5.8% in his first three years is the 2nd highest in NFL history; only Dan Marino is higher with 6.9%.
    - Wilson's INT% of 2.1% in his first three years is the lowest of any QB in NFL history.
    - Wilson is ranked #2 all-time with a career TD to INT ratio of 2.77 (min. 1200 attempts) behind only Rodgers.
    - Wilson is ranked #3 all-time with a career INT rate of only 2.1%, behind only Rodgers and Brady.
    - Wilson is the first and only QB in NFL history to throw for 300+ yards and run for 100+ yards (313 & 106) in the same game...against the Rams on 10-19-14.
    - Only one QB in NFL history had more than one season with more than 20 TD passes and 10 or fewer interceptions in his first three seasons: Wilson, who has had three such seasons.
    - His 72 touchdowns are the seventh-most ever through a player’s first three seasons.
    - Including the postseason, Wilson has 84 passing TD's in his first three seasons, 4th-most in NFL history.
    - Including the postseason, Wilson has 97 passing and rushing TD's in his first three seasons, 3rd-most in NFL history.
    - Wilson is ranked #12 all-time for most passing yards by a QB in his first three years with 9950 yards.
    - Including the postseason, Wilson is ranked #5 all-time for passing yards by a QB in his first three years with 11770 yards.
    - Wilson is ranked #5 all-time for most total yards (passing + rushing) by a QB in his first three years with 11827 yards.
    - Including the postseason, Wilson is ranked #2 all-time for most total yards (passing and rushing) by a QB in his first three years with 13902 yards.

    - Wilson has the 3rd highest career passer rating in SB history with a 117.39, behind only Joe Montana and Jim Plunkett.
    - Wilson has the 6th highest career completion % in SB history with 65.22%.
    - Wilson has the 4th highest yards per attempt in a SB game with 11.76 yards in SB49.
    - Wilson's 1,877 rushing yards is second-most by a QB in the modern era through three seasons behind Cam Newton's 2,032 yards.
    - Including the postseason, Wilson has the most rushing yards for a QB in NFL history in his first three seasons with 2132 yards.
    - Wilson led all NFL rushers in 2014 with an average of 7.2 yards per carry.
    - Wilson has a record of having had a lead at some point in 56 straight games since 2012...the old record was 45 games...Also, in those 56 games, Wilson has never lost an NFL game by more than 9 points.
    - Wilson has won 36 games in his first 3 seasons; three more than any other QB in NFL history.
    - Including the postseason, Wilson has won 42 games in his first three seasons; 6 more than any other QB in NFL history.

Wilson wanted to get that last second glory even though it belonged to Lynch. Even Lynch said it himself not long after the game. One of the most selfish plays I've ever seen and I've been watching the game for over 30 years.

HOFers Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, Fran Tarkenton were a combined.....0-8 in SB's. Before his third season Russell Wilson was 1-0.

Seen them all since around 1959, the best young QB I've seen is Russell Wilson. And I'm a Niner fan. This is an amazing "YOUNG" QB, anyone not seeing that shouldn't be trying to talk pro football.

Can run, doesn't throw INT's, can make all the throws, smart, what else is there? And he's accomplished what he has without a Julio Jones, Marvin Harrison, Randy Moss, Chris Carter, A.J.Green, Calvin Johnson etc. No GRONK.

    Look at...

    wins
    playoff success
    comp &
    TD/INT
    rushing yards
    QB rating

...for QB's not yet 27 years old, then show me what QB did it better than Russell Wilson, come on, let's see it.

Come on people stop acting like a bunch of ing rookies, ok? Compare what Tom Brady did BEFORE 27 VS RUSSELL WILSON....ok? And I'll do the work for ya.

    Tom Brady

    http://www.pro-football-reference.co...B/BradTo00.htm

    Russell Wilson

    http://www.pro-football-reference.co...W/WilsRu00.htm

And I;m not even factoring in the HUGE rushing advantage for RW.

Compare what Peyton Manning did.............BEFORE 27...ok?

    http://www.pro-football-reference.co...M/MannPe00.htm

Look ya dumb s stop acting like a re because a guy is black or short ot doesn't play on your team, ok? Ya look like a bunch of ing morons playing that weak ass .

This is the great Drew Brees, ok rookies? Just look at his career BEFORE 27....ok? Now compare him to what RW has done, ok

    http://www.pro-football-reference.co...B/BreeDr00.htm

Now ya take all the great QB's who was at their best before 27? WELL??????????

Seattle should've ran the damn ball, tbh.

even yesterday instead of overthrowing the WR Wilson could've handed it off for a draw. Would've been a better play than throwing it out of the end zone.

What we really don't want to do is ignore the fact Russell Wilson has had the best 4 seasons and 8 weeks we have seen from any QB.

    If talking...

    wins
    playoff success
    rushing yards
    TD/INT
    QB rating

...find me the QB who did it better at the same stage of their career.

We can start with Doug Baldwin and Jimmy Graham. That's already a million times better than what Hasselbeck had in 2001.

    Are you ing re ed?

    Educate yourself son, ok?

This was the book on the stud. (left the NCAA as the all time passing efficency leader for a season)

    Overview

Wilson is this year's big-time question mark at quarterback. Unlike those who have held this le in the past, Wilson is a ***stellar passer**** who shows arm strength and accuracy when he is able to deliver the ball without a hitch. A transfer from North Carolina St. over the summer,**** he has outstanding football intelligence**** as he picked up the Wisconsin offense in a short time and was the opening-day starter. However, at his height teams will have concerns whether or not he can see to make the throws at the next level. He is a mechanical mover who**** has strong technique and leadership qualities****. If Wilson were three inches taller there would be debate at the top of the draft as to where he fits in, but look for teams to take a flier on him in late rounds to see if he can develop and outplay his size.
    Analysis

    Strengths

Wilson is an accurate passer. He is a very mechanical quarterback who is consistent in his drop step and thoroughly understands how to move within the pocket and evade when the pocket collapses. He is an athlete and can torque his body to make any sort of throw on the run, and is accurate in this setting. He is a born signal caller who shows command of the offense. He has the arm strength to make the deep throws and the touch to put it on a receiver in stride. He is effective when scrambling and is a classic play extender. Weaknesses

Wilson's height will be his biggest inhibitor at the next level and the largest reason for his late-round value. It remains to be seen if he can throw effectively from the pocket at the next level.

Obviously without the best O line in the game, and that stud RB, Dak Prescott wouldn't be .

Where is Terry Bradshaw without HALL OF FAMERS...

    Mike Webster
    Franco Harris
    Lynn Swann
    John Stallworth
"Mean" Joe Greene (and L.C.Greenwood, Ernie Nevers and Dwiight White, THE STEEL CURTAIN)
    Jack Lambert
    Jack Ham
    Mel Blount

    Yep, he sucks.

    Peyton had....

Edgerrin James...top 20 all time rusher
Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne both in the top 20 receivers.

Who is the great legendary QB without a supporting cast..............?

I do have my fun with this Russell Wilson thing, ha~~~~~

The guy transfers from NC to Wisconsin, they make him team captain. His senior season he breaks the NCAA single season passing efficency record. Compare his NCAA stats to Andrew Luck.

He arrives in Seattle, he beats out the cat who was suppose to be the QB, then he takes off....

    Wins a playoff game
    Wins the Superbowl
Comes up a yard short of winning another Superbowl
    Wins a playoff game

While doing all that he becomes...

WinningestQB ever at that stage of a career
    4000/30/500 NFL record
Leads the NFL with a 110.1 QB rating
Only QB in history to start a career with two 100 QB ratings.
    Pro Bowl MVP
Three times more TD;s than INT's

Hahahahaha, watching you rookies with your.......HUH???

I challenge the board to give me another QB who had a moire successful first 4 seasons and 8 weeks, where is he, who is that, well?

This....but but he had Lynch and defense........that screams ROOKIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .....Manning had James and Harrison and Wayne, Johnny U had Berry, Moore and Mackey, Fouts had Muncie, Winslow, Joiner, Jefferson and Chandler and it goes on and on.........

    How stupid is this......

    Fan....Prescott can play~~~~
Clipper "You got" Nation..... got, he has the best O line in the league, a stud RB and Dez Bryant.
    Fan...so he actually sucks?
    Clipper "You got" Nation.... got.

Some of you dumb s need to drop this stupid.....but he's black. How ing dumb are you? When we read stupid like....Derek "WHITE" Anderson is better than Cam "BLACK" Newton, that says it all.

Nick Saban has a black QB for a reason as does Pete Carroll, ya think they might know a little football?
