That's Pop pushing the team (and Kawhi) through some stressors by resting players this early. And on top of that, LDN's still injured.
I'm just worried that the Spurs are needing Kawhi to go prime Kobe on teams in order to win.

Duncan Era = Not concerned about individual awards
Post Duncan Era = Let's keep it that way![]()
Not as impressive when AD had 95 points and 9 steals through the first two games
Hoping you're right![]()
It's Westbrook
http://www.nba.com/article/2016/10/3...sell-westbrook
10 FTA per game compared to 4.6 last year (16.2 per 100 possessions vs. 7.2) plus his assists being up 73% while turnovers only moving up 22%* is a huge development. Getting superstar treatment offensively because he's playing like one.
Already gets benefit of doubt defensively and on borderline plays, won't get whistled for minor contact.
* One of his seven being running down the shot clock at the end of the Kings game
The guy I said is MVP so far.
I want the WestBrick hype to be at an all-time high so Kawhi can reap the benefits like Lebron did when he beat the overhyped Duds.
I'm really confident now wih kawhi mvp. If kyrie ends up outscoring Lbron....its jist really bron vs kawh with anyone wih an ounce of IQ
if alphabrook keeps up his triple double he's getting MVP regardless of record or shooting percentage. 'first player since oscar to average a triple dub' is just too glamorous to ignore. only spurfan can't see this...
He won't average a triple double. lol Get real.
Never underestimate the selfishness of a true Alpha with God-Given talent and the green light to just... GO.
Too many factors would keep him from that. It's too long a season to average a triple double. Won't ever happen.
Russ already had the 2nd all time highest usage percent for a single season... last year. Already averaged a double double, which he is a lock to maintain at the very least. Just needed two more boards a game, which given that he'll be driving the ball much more than before and in range to bring more down, especially with Ibaka gone, I think he's going to do it![]()
He didn't average 10 assists when Durant was out but Kanter was starting in 2015. This season, Kanter is actually playing 20 MPG so good luck getting 10 assists against playoff teams while chucking up the ball 27 times.![]()
