Read it earlier today, and loved it. Thanks for posting. I think we are all excited with the improvements what Kawhi has made this year, and Pau said he wants to play harder on D, and Yes LMA is happy in San Antonio with the Spurs![]()
Nothing extremely new that we don't know in general, but it was a nice read w/ some fine quotes
including Kawhi's: "I’m a team guy. I’ll turn in all my MVPs if I get an NBA championship."

The story has a strange line:
Thor and his 'ax'?The back-to-back Defensive Player of the Year has been his sensational self on that end so far, treating the ball like Thor does his ax while averaging a league-best 3.3 steals
What is Amick trying to say?
Thor is a comic book super-hero whose weapon is an axe which he uses with authority to defeat his enemies.!

Well, that is some super duper dull axe, isn't it ?![]()
Isn't it a hammer?
Yes you're right! I knew it was some sort of object that could inflict great bodily harm!![]()
Just saw the picture above so who knows!!??
na i'm just messing with you. It's a hammer, Mjolnir is a hammer. He uses an axe nowadays because he is unworthy (aka too white and a man). In Ultimate Thor, Mjolnir is a hybrid between an axe and a hammer

You guys crack me up, but I know my Marvel comics. Thor originally uses a hammer called Mjolnir. Everything else like the axe was because of story purposes or it was alternate reality stuff ...
Nice read. Thanks for posting.
I thought the question was about the word "ax"..thats my question at least. Is it mispelled...regarldes of axe or hammer.
Thor and his might ax.
Too early for this , tbh.
Another curious tidbit was reading that it was Timmy who told Kawhi that he needed to draw fouls more often.

I laughed, maybe the writer is trying to prove he isn't a nerd?
Thor's hammer analogy aside, what's up with calling the Spurs a super team?
Spurs have never had a super team.
I suppose it's all relative, but I can certainly see why he views the Spurs as a "super team." More like a super franchise.
Yep.. Super franchise sounds better
