More often than not, the Spurs lose when I don't get a chance to watch...so I think I will need to blame gambit's woman. I spent most of the evening relieving testicular pressure into various points of entry of her body. Not my finest hour, but we all go through dry spells and at some point one has to do what is necessary to break the drought.
    Congrats on the slumpbuster.

    Pop tbh

The lineup up Parker, Ginibili, Simmons, Anderson, Lee that played for like 5 min in the fourth sealed the deal.

    Jazz also just shot well.

I blame Parker for shooting 60% from the field and having double the assists of anyone else on the team.

Spurs schedule is to blame for this loss tbh

    They gassed
Unclear if you are being facetious. 4 games in - and were gassed? Actually Kawhi has played the most minutes, and he better not be gassed at his age. I didn't think they were gassed - just complacent. That is just as disturbing to me. Oh, and as well as Pop coached in the opener against the Dubs, he was the worst last night. It would have been better to let Becky or Ime coach last. They aren't into sabotaging the Team.

Kinda game over when Porker just hands them the ball in the fourth to kill the run.
Oh you mean when Manu wasn't paying attention to the ball coming to him? And make sure you don't mention Kawhi dribbling off his foot out of bounds the next play.

Pop wanted this loss for sure to keep the team on edge ... whole team got outplayed in the first and fourth quarter - Utah played typical Spurs basketball while Spurs did not.
Simmons for Anderson in the SL was a bad idea and I bet Mills for TP would have similar effects on our bench production. We need a healthy and good DG to be a top team.

The Jazz out rebounded, out assisted, had less turnovers, and shot better percentages. The Jazz were the better team last night. The Jazz are to blame, I give them credit for the complete game.

Who would want a guy who couldn't lead his team to the playoffs when Durant got hurt? Who wants a career chucker who can't shoot 45% from the field and throws up over-the-backboard shots at the end of playoff series? Who wants a guy who runs MVPs out of town and can't win a single le no matter how stacked his team is?

I'll take the guy who outplayed Lebron in the Finals over the guy that got raped by him.

Westbrook is an awkward dunk landing away from being Derrick Rose.

I'd love to have him but what the Spurs would have to give up to get him. ...just not worth it, imo

Yeah, he's no Boobie Gibson. That's for sure.

Not on Amused, since nobody got hurt. You usually don't win when a team shoots 30 three pointers and hits half of them, tbh.

Actually, he doesn't want to trade for him. He wants to max him out the same season he turns 30 years old. Great idea, huh?

Nobody to blame, tbh..just a fluky, meaningless early-November game..

FYI, last season, teams that made >15s on 48+% shooting went 57-9..tough to win when a team is raining 3s..

Bu couldn't you say a LOT of those 3's are because Utah was left wide open since the Spurs were going under the screens a lot? Very few of Utah's 3's did they have a hand in their face.

Yes, a lot of it was poor defense, but that's generally what you see around the league during the first few weeks..

Still, even on poor defense, you don't expect a team to get that hot on the road..
