Trying to talk about tax returns in the middle of this storm
    Relates to transparency.

HRC is the most intensively scrutinized candidate ever. Has been since 2012. Loads of stuff out there, multiple investigations, multiple leaks, campaign emails hacked, all of it out there for the world to see, still no smoking gun, still no indictments.

    Donald Trump hides his taxes.

Bit of a double standard, don't you think?

HRC disclosed her taxes. Why shouldn't Trump show his hand too?

The FBI is apparently all over Hillary's pay to play. I honestly thought it would never happen.

Yep. Donald Trump broke the norm that presidential candidates disclose their taxes, so we can see what their vested interests are.

It seems not an unreasonable expectation for a person seeking high office to abide by, and indeed it was a norm that the entire political class has observed for about 50 years.

Does the expectation seem misguided to you, tlongII? Shouldn't candidates seeking political power at the national level disclose their financial interests?
    It's not a requirement.

Because they were living under a rock and didn't know Hillary was this big of a crook
really? people didn't know? come on, son... people does know, they just feel "she's not Trump" is a good enough reason to cast a vote for her.

He's not wrong though. You probably know more about Shillary at this point than your own cousin.

It's telling you think it's unfair -- and have no reply -when the transparency expectation is turned around on Trump.

And it's absolutely true there's a double standard as to disclosure. Expectations fall way harder on HRC than Trump.

    Heard you the first time.

What's your take on Donald ducking disclosure of his finances?

Don't you think voters deserve to know about Trump what they've known about every other candidate in the last 50 years?

Can you confirm axl rose as TSA tbh?

Unless he's 12 there is no way people dont know who the Clintons are and what they're all about. Money and power with a touch of skirting the grey area when it comes to what's illegal and what they can get away with.

In teh other hand, you got Trump, someone who is worse and is not subtle in the way he handles his own business. No idea how there is not a video of him doing something highly illegal. Luck is a lady in the case of Trump.

Lot of noise out there, hard to tell how it will turn out.

Disgruntled agents leaking to the press bodes ill for eventual indictment and reflects ill on the FBI, tbh.

With a corrupt Justice department it's their only way to build public sentiment for action.

CosmicParasite selectively picking on Hillary's pay-to-play when all three branches are totally corrupt pay-to-play.

the FBI leaking information selectively to the public to spark public pressure, what could go wrong?

do you think law enforcement should let itself be guided by popular pressure/outrage?

like it hasn't always been guided by popular pressure and political expediency.

if the US justice system has always been corrupt, as you seem to be suggesting, why should there be any hurry to break protocol now?

Your comparison between Trump not releasing his taxes and the lengths Clinton went to hide everything was so absurd it needed no reply.

Trash knows he can murder somebody and still be the candidate, but he knows if he releases his criminal tax records, he'd be dead.
