Murray just needs to be more dynamic with his speed. He plays at one pace. He also needs alot of maturing. Just needs good coaching and alot of playing time. Austin should work wonders for him.
Quoted for truth. He's like a puppy. If he sees a hint of daylight he goes right to the rim. Feels like his basketball IQ is low, but I think he's just so damned excited to be in the game that he wants to contribute. Definitely going to be watching the Toros* this year.

Larry Nance would make a nice 9th or 10th Role Player for a top 4 team..

Surprisingly good fundamentals for a player that had to go through the Kobe tour.
Those guys have gotten to see first hand the damage that heroball does. Been dying to play team basketball.

With the predominance of heroball in the NBA and the disposition of modern players, that seems like an unlikely take, but you could be right.

I thought one of them talked about it last week. I haven't really watched them this year but the ball didn't stick at all. Maybe that's just because the Warriors are so terrible on defense, tho.

He plays too fast, he usually shoots finger-rolls instead of using the glass like Patty.
No getting around it, Murray can't shoot worth a damn. On his jumpers he twists his hand and has no idea where the ball is going. Missed one earlier by missing the iron completely from dead in front of it. And missing the duck layup wasn't pretty. I hope Chip can do somethiing.

Man, I wish FSSW would find somebody competent to replace Andrew Monaco with in the studio. Ric "Helmet Hair" Rennert, too - of course.

I have said it before but I will say it again which is he reminds me of Kobe during his rookie year. Not saying Dejounte will be as good as Kobe but his body frame is similar to Kobe's when Kobe was 18. Also he attacks the basket every time but due to not being fully built yet he can't finish. Kobe had the same problem during his rookie year.

He has speed, athleticism, handles & an above average first step; he's more talented & physically gifted than CoJo. At worst, he should be a Jeremy Lin type guy under the tutelage of the Spurs developmental staff. It's a matter of his work ethic, he seems like a gym rat who loves to play the game.

Hopefully, he will be working out w/ Kawhi rather than Porker over the Summer.

The knock on him coming out of college was he can't shoot, so it's not surprising that his jumper is fundamentally flawed. He was in a contract negotiation during the summer & has been focusing on strength training so he probably hasn't gotten much time w/ Chip.

As far as him twisting his hands, Brandon Jennings does the same thing & he is also a chucker like Murray.

If Porker is cooked then he's most likely going to be waived if there is a better option in the buyout market.
