    Kind of nice to see no other teams in our division above .500 with the Pelicans and Mavs off to really bad starts.

    Winning a division though now means next to nothing given the current playoff seeding rules.

    speaking of this did the NBA change those rules that screwed us a couple of years back, when a division winner with a crappier record was seeded above us. I remember a lot of griping to the league at the time but I don't recall if they made the seeding purely record based now.

    It's purely record based these days. Division winner is guaranteed a playoff birth, nothing else.
