He needs to be better and more consistent on offense in big games (playoffs and matchups against the best teams in the regular season) to be considered as the second best player behind Lebron.

I don't think there's ever been a defensive player (no matter how good they are on defense) that's faltered on offense in the playoffs considered a top two player in the NBA. If there has, please name me one.

He's a great all around player, but that doesn't mean that he's the second best player in the NBA. Offense and scoring is a huge key to winning in the playoffs, probably more so than defense. Since he's now the leader and best player on the team, he has to be much better on offense if we're going to do anything in the playoffs, if not, the Spurs have no chance in winning it all.

I love Kawhi but I don't agree that he is the second best player in the world. I would say he is probably Top 5 and definitely Top 10. If you asked most general managers in the NBA they wouldn't select Lebron first and Kawhi second when starting a team.

needs to be labeled the ultimate casual fan...

    Lebron-Kawhi

    Irrelevant s
Hey, how about saying this; At certain nights Kawhi can be the best player on the floor. He did it against Lebron's Heat and Steph's n KD's Warriors. He can also be the 3rd best player on the floor, like the clippers this past game or OKC last playoffs.

And that's pretty much it. If we are going to win it all, it will be a team effort. Kawhi being the second best nba player is truly irrelevant, other than Spurs Porn of course.

"MVParker," the "head of the snake," had shooting nights of 4-11, 0-6, 3-11, 5-15 and 4-12 in a playoff series against a Clippers team with a significantly worse defense than this one. Meanwhile, his fluffers are circlejerking over one bad regular-season shooting night for Kawhi in October. Porker stans are truly delusional.
I didn't know old and washed up Parker, playing against a prime top 5 PG ever, was the bar we were setting for Kawhi. TO make it even worse, Kawhi was a lottery pick, and Parker was barely a first round pick, they should hardly be held to the same standards. But if you must...

How about Parker at 24. 30-6 to close out PHO, 21-5-5 and +20 to close out Utah. Also had a 14 assist game that series. At 24 he had great series against top 10 PGs like Nash, and D Will while Kawhi allows the Matt Barnes, Dion Waiters, and Andre Robertsons of the league to enforce their will upon him Of course, can't forget the FMVP against the Cavs.

"Booby Gibson " Go back and watch the tape heads. Lebron was guarding him just as much that series and it didn't matter. Well deserved FMVP imho.

Your offense wasn't even the problem, anyway. You scored 92 against a defense that has only been giving up about 90 points per game. The story of the game was defense: the Clippers played it, the Spurs didn't. And Porker's morbidly obese, non-defense-playing ass was not going to change that; he'd only have made things worse.
"You scored 92 against a defense that has only been giving up about 90 points per game."

are you dumb? We were scoring 100+ pretty much every game except the Utah loss, so if their defense held us to basically 90 I think they did something right.

"And Porker's morbidly obese, non-defense-playing ass was not going to change that; he'd only have made things worse."

Our two most played lineups, have our two best +/- and they both include Tony
