True. But while he was able to do that, I don't think it was a carefully crafted deal. I think he has a lot of nasty qualities and I don't trust he's really in it to do right.
He's going to do like Bush and just hand everything off to Pence, just like he promised Kasich when trying to give him the VP slot.
Dems simply had better candidates... and this will be a lesson, no doubt about it. In a way, if this is truly the end of the Clinton (and Bush) dynasties on their respective parties, then it's good news, IMO.
